Hi! I’m new here. I’ve read what seems like hundreds of these threads, but never posted anything myself. I’m currently 9 DPO, I’m positive about my ovulation date as I get the really sharp pain on my left side each time! Have definitely had a multitude of symptoms. I have it stuck in my head that I’m pregnant, but I have 30 + day cycles. This would be the second one for me! Would love to have a baby, but still finishing up my schooling.. so! We will see. I went crazy and bought a ton of tests, took one this morning which was a BFN. But my period is still 7 days away, so. Would love people to keep me company from my crazy brain!!

@Sarah3956 Oooh well still sounds possible then! I remember bacon making me want to chuck pretty early last time. I love bacon!
I've had all the same symptoms this TWW that I had when I conceived last time, so it's totally possible I'm preg, but I just don't know how much I just notice symptoms more than usual because I'm looking for them, if you know what I mean? Such a weird time! I really hope it happens for you this month

It’s so hard to know because when we’ve got the idea in our head, we are going to notice every tiny symptom and relate it to pregnancy. I guess that just comes with this territory 🤷‍♀️ I really hope it happens for you this month as well! This will be your first and I will be elated for you ❤️

My train of thought is this. I was in a downhill slide of my relationship with my sons father. It was a really bad one, and I found out I was pregnant right after I turned 20. In the same month. I left him very soon after. So I went through a pregnancy alone, which I struggled with very much. I was very young and I felt like i had ruined my life plans. I then raised the baby alone, while co- parenting with this man I could not stand. I felt like I had been through the wringer. So then, one night I happen to meet the love of my life at a bar. This was one week before my LO, turned 1. They turned out to have the same birthday. So now I have this amazing man and I’m ready to expand the family, because it turns out that little boy was the best thing that could have ever happened in my life. I so badly want another baby. I want to enjoy the pregnancy and be so full of joy, instead of stress and sadness. I just want to do it differently this time! I feel guilt around how it went the first go, but I couldn’t change the circumstances. That little boy has had no shortage of love though either ❤️❤️

Wow that does sound stressful, poor you! I'm glad you have a supportive OH this time round though How long have you been together now?

@AKC88 not bad thanks - planning to test on Saturday if AF not here. Still having same symptoms as pregnant cycle last time, so possibly it's a good one for me. Hope you enjoyed your prosecco! Is your AF away yet?

Have only been together for 7 months now. So very short time in terms of making a baby! 😂 that’s why the plan was to wait until next year, after getting the house and being done with school. He is 11 years my senior though, so I do feel a bit of pressure to hurry up and get this family thing rolling 🤪

Nope she's still here, I normally hav about 5 days of AF so couple more and then back to waiting for O day! There's a surprising amount of waiting around in this baby making game 🤣.

I've got some more OPK's and toyed with the idea if temping but I think I'd struggle to get it right!

@Sarah3956 me and my hubby were only together 9 months when I got pregnant with our first and we wouldn't change it for the world now! We are trying to get a new house too at the minute just to add in the mix

Oh, I know! I was convinced I was never having more kid, while I was pregnant. Pshh.. what a joke 😂 I love babies too much. I get the googly eyes whenever I see one or hold one 👼🏻

No!!! I was so rooting for you. I’m sorry you guys 😢 I don’t think it’s going to happen for me either. I just kind of stopped feeling like I may be pregnant. 14 DPO today and still BFN! My cervix is getting hard like before AF too. I’m sure it’ll happen before the weekend 🙃

On that note.. since I don’t think it’s going to happen. Why do our bodies deceive us so badly? I’ve has symptoms since ovulation and that’s never happened before 😢

Don't know! Maybe a lot of the symptoms we get most cycles but don't really notice them. It's also possible to have a chemical pregnancy / miscarriage right after implantation I guess. Presume that would give you some symptoms and then AF comes and you never know. Or maybe it's all in our heads!! 😂

Ugghh. I’m sure most of it is in our heads 😂 my SO told me this week I go way overboard on stuff. Initially I was insulted.. but then I realized it’s very true 🤷‍♀️ He said nothing will worry him until I’ve missed a period. Wish I could adopt that way of thinking! Really tempted to buy some wine now

With my luck, I’d buy the bottle and then find out that I’m indeed pregnant 😏 ha, doubt it though. Brownies sound delicious. I’ve had some major cravings for pumpkin pie today 😂

I can't decide whether I want to try BBT tracking...do you or @HerringGull do it? I want to control my obsessiveness about this but it seems I can't haha!

My OH kept saying he wasn't interested until my AF was late but he basically asked every day after O day last month if we could be pregnant yet (as if I needed any more reminders).

No, I don't track BBT. This was only my first month trying for #2, and I conceived #1 after three cycles, so it wasn't too hard. Unless we have problems this time round will just keep it chilled. I have very distinctive EWCM so I always know when I'm ovulating, but we are quite beans in bed all the time anyway so it probably doesn't even matter!
I could definitely get obsessed about it, so trying to avoid extra obsessiveness too! How long have you been trying this time @AKC88 (sorry if you already said)?

I do not track my temp, I only track ovulation with my little strips. It’s kind of fun to watch them change! Either way though I know when I ovulate because I get the terrible pain in my left side and a ton of CM On the day of
