BFN could I still be pregnant

My periods are very regular and I'm 5 days late. Could I still be pregnant even with a negitive test now?

I had a mc in April and even then my period returned to its regular schedule.

I dont track, just know how long my cycle is and when my period is due.

I bought some tests on line due Thursday, so I guess I'll try then if I need to. If that's also a BFN I think I'll trust it

Yes but unlikely at 5 days late. But if your periods are irregular, then you may have ovulated later than you think and not be 5 days late if that makes sense!

I would also retest in a few days if your period doesn’t come.
