Late period, negative test, could I still be pregnant?

Following up from my last thread. My period is still very much late. I have neither period or pregnancy symptoms and I’m becoming concerned

I spoke to my doctor on Friday who said to wait to test 3 weeks after I had sex, this will be tomorrow. I took a test yesterday which was negative and didn’t even have a faint growing line

Has this ever happened to anyone? And did you period arrive or were you pregnant?

I was always under the assumption you test 2 weeks after ovulation. We had sex the week just after I ovulated so I highly doubt I’ve fallen pregnant

If your test is negative at this point, you are just likely having an irregular cycle. Some ladies have cycles that can go for weeks longer than usual. Are you ordinarily very regular?

@Waiting4another this is my thought. I really doubt I’m pregnant considering the timing of sex, accidents happen but there needs to at least be an egg there or about to descend!

My cycles are quite regular yes, this is the first month it’s been irregular
