Well this is a squinter if you've ever seen one...

PCOS diagnosed and actively TTC, boobs are slightly sore and had some pinkish spotting but my cycles range from 41-72 days and this is CD28. In theory I shouldn't have even ovulated yet...

However due to spotting, sore nipples and period cramps I decided to test last night. I'm pretty sure I can see the faintest shadow but maybe because I want it so bad my eyes are deceiving me.

I see very faint line.

Your name is showing at the bottom of the photo OP, you may want to report and have it removed.

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 10:56

I know, I've asked Mumsnet to remove Smile

Yep there but faint

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 11:07

I've tried a pink dye cheap test and it's negative. Would a first response pick it up yet?

BehindtheBump · 21/09/2020 11:09

I can see a line. There's some glare or something going on too though, making it tricky. You could try a FRER with FMU tomorrow?

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 11:12

Probably me getting the lamp to shine right on it Blush

It is seriously a squinter. Can you get evap lines on pink dye tests?

I'm so confusedShock

OP posts:
BehindtheBump · 21/09/2020 11:15

Personally, I'd call that a positive. You can get evap lines on any test but they're colourless and appear after the test has dried (that's why tests always say 'do not read after X minutes). Did this line appear in the specified testing timeframe?

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 11:19

Yes, well I left the rest for ten minutes (expecting it to be negative, as always) whilst I brushed my teeth and got ready for bed. I've had evaps on a clear blue but never these tests.

I was adamant I could see a shadow of something though but I'm expecting my eyes to be playing tricks.

OP posts:
BehindtheBump · 21/09/2020 11:23

Ah. You'll need to do a test with FMU and check it within the specified time frame to be certain then. Good luck!

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 12:26

Thank you.

Can anyone else see a line? Blush

OP posts:
FleurMac · 21/09/2020 12:36

Definitely see a line! Test again first thing and let us know! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

TheDaydreamBelievers · 21/09/2020 12:36

I can. Definitely do a FRER tomorrow. I've just got a BFP and there was a huge difference between that and the One Step cheapie

LindtNosher · 21/09/2020 13:34

Couldn't help myself and tested using a FRER and it's negative :(
