Testing 25th sept buddys

I "think" im 3dpo but who the fuck knows tbh! On my 12th cycle ttc #1. DTD for the last time tonight as DH has semen test on the 25th which is also his birthday which is also the day im hoping to test, really hoping for my BFP this month 🤞🏻

@AKcheer thanks , AF has arrived along with the cramps. So no need to test. It seems even when you are relaxed and expect AF it still manages to surprise you 🤣 onto cycle 6. X

@1992EM oh no I’m sorry AF has come. At least I. A few days it will be over and then onto the next month. And we try and pray again!

@AKcheer I wish I knew the answer to your question 🤣 I try not to bang on to much about positive opks and just tell my oh the week so he has some warning but not loads of pressure. That doesn't help for me though as then I have to make sure we actually dtd on the right days.

Honestly I feel like that too! Whenever it’s my fertile window I feel like I’m a psycho saying to him “we have to dtd tonight! It’s my fertile window!” I too don’t have much advice as I feel the same as you :(

My colleague just found out the gender of her baby and has told everyone this morning, I honestly feel like crying 😔 I feel so bad for feeling jealous

@1992EM😂😂 I mean i mention these positive opks but n won’t now 😂 it’s hard right? I see everyone says relax spice it up but I find it so hard to think this is just normal sex because it’s way more then that!!

Oh no @Nam095 I’m sorry. I know but don’t feel bad you feel jealous. It’s completely normal. Especially when you want this so bad. I know exactly how you feel. You have to stay strong and positive and think this will happen. I’m also TTC my first and feel like you but we can’t get down about it. Your time will come and it will be so amazing and special. In the meantime don’t feel bad about feeling jealous. We also always assume everyone has an easy journey when we don’t know what they’ve gone through or what they are going through. Plus we have each other on here to rant!!

@AKcheer I ended having to speak to my oh as I was becoming resentful that all he had to do was dtd on the right days and I was doing opks , changed my full diet and stopped drinking altogether. I didn't really consider the pressure I was putting on him and I think having that chat really helped. Although it still didn't take the pressure of me doing all those things , I understood his prospective more. I honestly thought it would be all fun and games to begin with and now it is just a military exercise 🤣🤣🤣

@nam095 your emotions are understandable and I would be the same . As @Akcheer says we never no what journey they have been on to get there and one day it will hopefully be us x

@AKcheer @1992EM thanks guys I’m feeling a bit better, I know it will happen for us all one day! I know my colleague’s pregnancy was an accident, she said it was an accident and she wasn’t trying so it was a surprise, so that in itself made me jealous 😔

I need to calm down with the OPKs as well, whenever I get a strong line I always send a pic of it to my OH 🙈 he probably couldn’t care less or even understands what it means 😂

Sorry to those of you that have had AF over the weekend, fingers crossed the next cycle is the one for you.
Completely understand the jealousy feelings, as soon as you start trying it feels like babies are everywhere
I am still waiting for AF, have had 3 BFN (2 were early detection) so fairly sure I am having the latest period I have ever had and by body is just messing with me...had a good ole cry yesterday on the 3rd BFN
Going to wait until tomorrow to try again when AF is a whole week late...no mans land is killing me

@nam095 oh i understand. I feel no matter where I look it is about babies from adverts to instagram posts. It is so hard . I also have a room i hate as when we moved we didn't want to decorate as it will hopefully be a nursery so it just annoys me as nothing matches in it and I am ocd like that 🤣 .

I also get so excited about the smiley and run through to show my oh 😅 we have talked and he knows the week as we are both off so hopefully it isn't forced this month.

@kroberts84 sorry to hear about you negative tests . It could be yiu ovulated later or if you have started taking preconception vitamins they can mess with cycles. My first month i was 5 days late and had never been late before or since. I think it was just a mixture of stress and the new vitamins as I had negative tests . X

I did start taking prenatals this month so could well be that, I'm normally regular as clockwork...trying not to get my hopes up and this helps me stay realistic...

@Kroberts84 it could be that or could be you have implanted late and that is why and may still mean you are pregnant. As they say you are not out until AF shows x

@1992em this is killing me, just want to know one way or the other...ttc first so think you always worry something is wrong with one or both of you, plus I'm 36 so chances starting to reduce...so want it to be a BFP...I'm going to try and wait till Wed to test again

@1992EM love that! Military exercise 😂 I just can’t believe how hard it is. And I think us females put a lot more pressure on ourselves. Yeah I’ve spoke to my hubby too and I think our diets are ok. It’s just like the alcohol. Like Saturday nights we like date night (even though it’s corona time) and like does that mean I shouldn’t even have 1 wine or gin with my meal? I don’t drink a lot but I like at least 1.

@Nam095 I mean let’s be honest. We hate those people for a min who just get pregnant by accident 😂 I feel like these days when I congratulate friends and family I sound a bit fake but I don’t mean too. I’m jealous!! Omg love that i literally did the same to my hubby the month gone and he was like wtf is that 😂

Hey @KRoberts84 oh no sorry to hear about your predicament. As the other lovely ladies have mentioned - do you think you ovulated late? I’ve seen so many people who don’t get a BFP until much later. And you’re right when you are ttc your first it’s such a roller coaster and I think we are all going through that. Stay positive and if it’s not your month then next month hopefully we will all be positive. Have you been trying for long x

@akcheer thanks, I have not started monitoring ovulation yet, we are trying to take the first months as they come and was planning to start actually testing for ovulation if no luck after xmas...started trying in May so not too long really.
Have so far avoided stressing out but this months late show plus 3 BFN has been really hard on us both...going to test again Wed am...please all cross everything for me.

@AKcheer I think drinking is fine until you are likely to be pregnant so I just decided not to have it but I have a wedding coming up and will be during fertile week and I will be drinking. I can't put my whole life on hold. I won't drink when it comes to around AF time just incase though. i don't think the odd night is an issue . 💕
@nam095 yeah , I hope so . It was fine during lockdown but since going back to work it has been hard as we both work opposite shifts which we did to suit childcare in the future but actually is making it difficult to even make a baby 🤣

@1992EM ooh a covid wedding! That will be interesting! Yeah you’re right. I will enjoy the odd one. Last time during my fertile week I went for lunch with my friends and it ended up being a all day drinking thing! I will definitley avoid that!!!
