CD10 faint positive?! So confused.

Hey guys. I’m so fed up! I’m on CD10, and my period lasted only 2-3 days this month. I had heavy bleeding like always for 2 days, and then light brown spotting for another day and a half. My periods are always 5-6 days long so it was really weird. But it might have been shorter because I’ve had two chemicals in the last 4 months. I had a chemical in June at 4+4, and another in August at 4+3 so super early. I had a mc last year in June too, at under six weeks. Ever since my period has ended I’ve been having weird abdominal cramping in my lower stomach. It’s not been too painful, thankfully. I’m super bloated today which is so weird, because I’m always bloated before my period and not after it’s ended. Today, I took a cheapie just because I had some old ones left over and I swear there’s a line and it’s pink. It’s really faint but why on earth would there be a line after my period? A week after my period?! You probably won’t be able to tell in the picture but it’s there and I am so damn confused. Am I having yet another chemical pregnancy? It’s so weird though. It’s day 10 of my cycle. I don’t know what’s going on with me, these chemicals have seriously messed with me yet my periods are still somehow regular. Someone help?

I’ve read that pregnancy tests can also detect other serious illnesses like cancer?! This is really worrying, why would I have a line after my damn period has ended? And these cramps. What’s going on? I almost self diagnosed endometriosis because of these cramps. And now ugh. I’m so sorry guys I’m all over the place and confused as hell.

But it could be endo? I have painful periods but they’re like... not too too painful if that makes sense? Sometimes painful sex. And these weird cramps throughout my cycle. These are the symptoms right? I’m so dumb I know.

I don't see any line I'd say that's a negative test x

dreamerkr · 08/09/2020 19:14

It’s so unclear in the pictures but there’s something there and for the first time I don’t want it to be there 😩 because obviously if there was a line the pregnancy wouldn’t be viable. I hope I ovulate on time like I usually do... this is so stressful! x

As a rule these cheap tests are unreliable. You should test with a first response early results with first morning urine

Bl0ndi3 · 08/09/2020 19:33

If it is cd10 then it's impossible that you are pregnant and those tests look stark white negative to me. I wouldn't trust any line you've gotten and just forget about it. Also I'm pretty sure a cheap pregnancy test can't detect cancer so please stop worrying

1940s · 08/09/2020 19:59

Of course she could be pregnant if she believes she is CD 10. Many people bleed in early pregnancy and that is what OP may have had which lead her to believe she's in a fresh cycle on CD10.

Whilst this is highly highly unlikely and a test would be showing up stronger... it's not absolutely completely impossible

Bl0ndi3 · 08/09/2020 21:12

That's why I said if it is cd10 in which case it is impossible. However if the bleeding wasn't AF then she's not CD10 and therefore could well be pregnant but it doesn't read that way from the post.

The only thing I can suggest OP is you take another test tomorrow with FMU. If another "positive" go to the doctors and ask for bloods I'm sure they'll oblige if you explain

Bizawit · 08/09/2020 21:15

Those tests look negative to me..

dreamerkr · 08/09/2020 21:30

If I was pregnant a test would be definitely darker at this point, I took another test and it looks negative thankfully. I was stressing out about it. But I’m cramping in my lower stomach and super bloated just before I am before AF arrives which is so weird. I’m always like this just before AF, never at this part of my cycle. I guess my cycles are gonna get a bit messed up too because of the two recent chemicals.

@dreamerkr I'm 36 days after a miscarriage and I've been cramping for the last 7 days since ovulation which is weird for me. My cycle is definitely all over the place because the MC interrupted things and the same possibly for you.

I'd ignore it lovely and see how you go the next few days

dreamerkr · 08/09/2020 21:45

@Bl0ndi3 I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I’m worried because although I’ve had three losses, I seem to have ovulated on time after each one but idk. I’m gonna ignore it and think that it might be early ovulation cramps or something haha. Although I always get ovulation pain on day 14 of my cycle! I’m so bloated and uncomfortable though 😔
Have you tested? X

Bl0ndi3 · 08/09/2020 21:49

Have you been tracking any OPKs etc to check when you're ovulating?

Not yet I'll wait til around 12dpo i think which is Sunday it's my first cycle after the MC so I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much!

dreamerkr · 08/09/2020 22:09

I use OPKs each month and always get a positive OPK on day 14, I took an OPK today and it was negative, the second line was really faint. I don’t temp though. What about you?
I’m definitely gonna try and hold off until 12dpo this time, or even later, but I’m so impatient! And you never know!! I’ve heard that you’re more fertile after a miscarriage. Fingers crossed for you 😊 x

@dreamerkr I used the clear blue digital ovulation the cycle I got BFP. I've used it again this month but also confirmed it with a positive OPK too so I'm certain I ovulated and more or less when.

I've tried temping but it's just not for me I'm rubbish at waking up same time and temping etc haha. I rate the clear blue just because it's straight forward.

I'd just keep OPKing until you get your positive and you'll feel better about everything I find it really motivating knowing when I ovulate and I feel so much more positive as I know I've done everything I can. X

I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones who gets a BFP straight away after a miscarriage but I am trying not to get my hopes up too much either x

dreamerkr · 08/09/2020 23:46

Same, I tried temping last month too and I was rubbish at it. I kept forgetting, I don’t know how, and I never wake up at the same time either!

Are you trying for your first? @Bl0ndi3 x

OP posts:
Bl0ndi3 · 09/09/2020 08:22

@dreamerkr yeah my first when I got my BFP mid July we had been trying for around 8 months so it's a shame we are back at square one after the miscarriage in August but oh well! Xx

dreamerkr · 09/09/2020 10:11

Aww it’s really difficult isn’t it? I got my BFP in June, a whole year after my miscarriage and then I had a chemical. And another one two months later. It sucks. The recurrent miscarriage clinic weren’t that helpful either. They just told me to get bloods done at the start of November, there’s not much they could do right now. So I tested again this morning and the same thing. The faintest, faintest ever pink line. I definitely think this was a faulty batch of tests, and I’ve never used this brand before so I don’t trust them. I think I’m going to be ovulating soon.

OP posts:
dreamerkr · 10/09/2020 10:16

So today I have a super positive OPK, on CD12. I guess that might explain the cramping I’ve been having? It’s so weird though, I always get my positive OPK on either day 14 or 15. My hormones are definitely messed up.

OP posts:
dreamerkr · 10/09/2020 10:22

Definitely positive, right?

CD10 faint positive?! So confused.

@dreamerkr that is the darkest OPK I have ever seen!!! Good luck!! X

dreamerkr · 10/09/2020 11:43

@Sohe thank you!
