16 DPO And faint line, could it be?! Picture!

Hi! I have PCOS and we’ve been trying 6 Months, Waiting for clomid at the moment but there’s a 3 month wait. I thought I was getting my period as I had some light, brown spotting on Sunday which continued until Tuesday, on Tuesday there was a very small amount of dark red (like a pea size) on my towel after showering but then the spotting stopped. So on Wednesday I did a cheap waitrose pink dye test in the evening and got a faint line but wasn’t sure if I’d left it too long to check. So in the morning I did another one and got another faint line, I’m thinking I might have ovulated late and it was implantation bleeding I had earlier in the week? Normally my periods are about 6 days long, should’ve ended on Sunday.

Although I have pcos and it took a year for periods to come back after being on the pill, once they did come back they have been like clockwork 30 days cycles with 6 days moderate bleeding. I definitely haven’t had a period this time.

Planning on doing a digital test on Sunday and will report back. What do you think of the photo?

Thanks!

Looks positive to me. Congratulations! Do. FRER as soon as you can as they are pretty accurate.

Cafeaulait27 · 04/09/2020 10:01

Yay! I’m so excited, I hope that when I get the digital on Sunday it’ll say pregnant. I am really worried about problems as I have pcos but fingers crossed. I keep thinking surely it can’t be this easy?!

I have PCOS too op, DD was after fertility treatment, I then fell pregnant completely unexpected when DD was only 1, I'm now 12 weeks pregnant Smile
With DD, pregnancy was absolutely fine, I had gestational diabetes and she was born quite big at 8lb 10oz at 38 weeks but that was it!
Good luck op!

JustFrustrated · 04/09/2020 10:15

That's not faint. Even I could see it. Congratulations.

That’s lovely! Thanks so much for sharing a positive pcos story! Xxx

@Bumwart21, can see a line but blue dye tests are notorious for evaps so I would be cautious and not get excited yet. Try a frer or another pink dye test x

I’ve also been having crazy vivid nightmares every night for the past 2 weeks, even one where I woke up my husband talking about snakes! Could this be something to do with it?

Andypandy81 · 04/09/2020 20:02

vivid dreams is a pregnancy symptom I had some really crazy ones including snakes. Fingers crossed for you x

cowthatjumpedoverthemoon · 05/09/2020 03:47

That’s a positive congratulations Flowers a evap wouldn’t have colour.

Vivid dreams was my first pregnancy symptom even before my BFP and they are still going strong now at 33 weeks 🙈 x

Cafeaulait27 · 05/09/2020 10:34

Yay!! The nightmares have been really stressful and made me so tired, but now I know I’m pregnant they seem to have relaxed me and they have stopped.

I feel really bloated too and my tummy feels very full, I also have a very mild ache like the beginning of a period which I’ve had for about a week. Is that normal?

My period should be finishing tomorrow and other than a bit of brown discharge I haven’t had anything.

Should I get a first response or digital test today? Or maybe both? I’ll test first thing Sunday morning and report back!

I still feel nervous of saying ‘I’m pregnant’ it feels so early and like it can’t be real as I have pcos, but hopefully if I get good positives tomorrow it will put my mind at rest.

Ok so I got a clear blue digital today, was going to wait until tomorrow morning but then I read it’s accurate from the first day of your missed period and mine should’ve ended today.... so I tested and it says pregnant!!!

Me and my husband are so excited! I feel amazing and on cloud 9, so in awe of what my body has achieved.

As a woman with pcos we were expecting a long and painful journey but this is within 5 months of trying and before we’ve had any treatment (we were on the waiting list for clomid).

I know so much can go wrongat this early stage but I’m literally so excited I might cry... I just want to tell everyone now but I’m going to wait.

Am I right to be excited?? Or should try to calm down until first scan??

Thanks all!

arcof · 06/09/2020 03:04
