Hi girls,
Im currently in the tww and wondering if anyone is too and wants to share their journey. Im currently 8DPO and am doing my best to NOT poas though its so hard! Im literally an addict...but so far so good. Im determined this time to not test before 12DPO!
Bit about me: im 37, Have been ttc for just over a year now and in that time sadly had a MMC x 2 and more recently an ectopic requiring tube removal. So afraid that I wont be able to concieve on the side of my existing tube but ya gota have hope, right?! Hoping for a rainbow baby on this our fourth attempt.

Symptoms so far:
-Bigger boobs but not sore (yet)

  • loads of rumblings going on low down
  • sleepy after food
  • weight loss ( though im on the large side so no harm there!)
  • odd lower back pain
  • VERY emotional (poor hubbie!)

Would love to chat to ladies in a similar boat to symptom share and have a laugh with in this horrible tww fiasco! Fingers crossed for baby dust for all hoping for their BFP ✨🤰🤗❤

Argh I’ve messed up! Woke up about 6.30 so decided to do temp, thinking I’d check the result later when awake (my thermometer keeps a memory of the result) - but I was too bleary eyed to read it properly and then the result disappeared! It was either 36.4 which would be a day 7 dip back to cover line, or 36.9 which would be a rise! The repeat when I woke properly was 36.75 which is in the middle!
Have just decided to log one result on FF and the other on Femometer and see what happens over the next few days 🙈

@Bellaashley looking forward to your update

@LT103 sounds cautiously optimistic! Good news that still no spotting

@ER20 sounds like you could be lucky first time!

To those feeling despondent, hugs. This is a stressful business but nice that we’ve got support on here

Can I join in? Hi all!

6dpo here and for some reason the worst insomnia I've ever experienced. Last night was just a complete waste of time, lying in bed listening to my husband (and cats) snore in tandem.

I'm wondering if this could be a positive symptom? I'm not prone to insomnia at all, but I know how silly symptom spotting at this early stage can be. I have PCOS and endometriosis, and I had a miscarriage in January after trying to conceive for 5 years, so I'm pretty much sick of this whole business!

Good luck to everyone this month!

ChasingRainbow · 03/09/2020 10:25

@LittleLL Horrray!! You are most definately pregnant! Huge congratulations, delighted for you xx

Rumples · 03/09/2020 10:27

@LittleLL aw congratulations 🥳

ChasingRainbow · 03/09/2020 10:29

@Wilsonicus hello & welcome!
Funny you should ask about insomnia. Iv had this for the last few nights now. And i have also had it for two previous pregnancies. And fyi, I love my sleep! So there you go, I guess it is a symptom.
Keeping 🤞 for you. So sorry to hear of your loss in Jan. This is a lovely little group here so feel free to rant anytime and one of us will help you out! Hugs x

@mouldygrapes How annoying. Though you were clearly very tired so ease up on yourself lovely. Which temp did you end up going with?

Oh really? I shan't get my hopes up, but so interesting to see that you've had that symptom too! What days did your insomnia start on? Part of me is worried that it might be due to low progesterone, or just one of those random things that we chalk up to being a potential symptom and just turns out to be our bodies being weird and unhelpful!!

mouldygrapes · 03/09/2020 11:09

@ChasingRainbow thanks - have gone with the higher one in FF which I find a better app, and the lower one in Femometer. Also on the insomnia question @Wilsonicus I woke up at 4am and 6.30 which is v unusual for me! It was chilly though so wonder if it was that.

@LittleLL - congrats! How exciting

ChasingRainbow · 03/09/2020 11:20

@Wilsonicus well, I can tell you its not been progesterone related for me. Last pregnancy I was on twice a day progesterone supplements and blood levels were crazy high. That pregnancy did end in miscarriage but for sure the insomnia was a very early symptom.
This time around, the middle of the night/ early morn wakening started at about 5 or 6dpo. Its annoying! And especially when ordinarily I could sleep on my head upside down if I needed to! Lol x

Forgot to say when I say 'this time around' I mean ttc/ ttw. I tested at 10dpo and could see the beginning/ possibility of a line but not significant enough to call it that. So im still technically a BFN. Testing again tomorrow morning with some of the other girls on here & the wait is killllllling me!

@ChasingRainbow ooo, thats exciting! I have my fingers crossed for you that you get a big, glaring positive tomorrow!!

I'm the same with sleep, normally. Both my husband and I could literally sleep through the apocalypse if we needed to. At least I can be virtuous when he gets up around lunchtime, and I've been up for hours doing all sorts of 'useful' things - like trash tv and eating crumpets.

I do hope the insomnia is a symptom, otherwise I'll just be peeved at the lack of perfectly good sleep!!

Luckylola12 · 03/09/2020 12:21

Congratulations @littleLL ❤❤

Luckylola12 · 03/09/2020 12:24

So i just realised im not sure how many dpo i am haha!
Had a peak on opk cd 19 and 20 then watery discharge on cd 20 aswell. So does that mean i ovulated on cd21? Currently on cd 34, cycles normally 33-36 days long. But i always get sore bbs 1 week before af and they started hurting cd 26, still slightly painfull now but not much. Keep feeling like af is here, go to the bathroom then nothing! So confused 🤔🤔

Luckylola12 · 03/09/2020 12:54

Just had my post ovulation bloods back and everything is normal =) i guess thats good news even if af does arrive

DontFadeAway · 03/09/2020 13:02

@LittleLL huge congrats lovely! ♥️

@Bellaashley looking forward to your update! Have a lovely day xx

babblebeee · 03/09/2020 13:29

How do you all get through the 2WW. I'm only day 5 and I'm already impatient. Congrats to all that have had their BFPGrin

bez91 · 03/09/2020 13:39

Can I join? 9dpo today. First month using OPKs due to crazy cycles and cycle 2 of TTC.
Resisting the urge to test until 14dpo when AF is due next Tuesday!
Good luck to everyone x

Bellaashley · 03/09/2020 16:50

There's no denying it... 😍 I'm beyond words!

SEPT 2020 BPF testing/ two week wait Gals 🤞🤞
SeekingCoffee33 · 03/09/2020 16:52

Hello all. I’d like to join please. No idea when I ovulated but in CD 26 and cycle can be anywhere from 28-35 days so not sure when AF is due. I’ve ordered a few first responses which will be delivered tomorrow. Can’t decide when to test. Had cramps and been very, very tired for the last 3-4 days. I already have two children. You would think I’d know what I’m doing by now lol

Jadeb1995 · 03/09/2020 16:55

So happy for you @Bellaashley, did you do anything different this month?

DontFadeAway · 03/09/2020 17:05

@Bellaashley I am SO happy for you! Huge congrats!! ♥️♥️♥️

Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting to test like myself 😬 I think the TWW will test my sanity 😂

Bellaashley · 03/09/2020 17:08

@Jadeb1995 Thanks lovely 💓 The only thing I can think of is that we DTD 2 days prior to ovulation (as well as once on the day), which I hadn't done last month.

For reference I've also been taking Folic Acid, DHA & COQ10 for 4 months.

I'm quite scared this time round though. It's only my second pregnancy (first baby) & I didn't find out I was pregnant until 7 weeks last time. I'm going to be a nervous wreck these next few weeks!!

I also need to speak to my midwife (later down the line) as we'd been told I'm higher risk having had a previous TFMR (😢) with our first.

I'm so unbelievably happy but it's tainted with a little sadness X
