TTC Sex - before bed or mid day / AM?!

We were fortunate to fall very easily with DC1 and have been trying many months for DC2.

In my crazy analysis I realised that DC1 was conceived after DTD in the afternoon, whereas all DTD attempts this time round have been right before bed (so I don't have to get up and can lay down so I don't need to battle gravity...)

I'm adding in a few afternoon delights this cycle. Anyone else have any 'anectdata' to back up the day time DTD sessions?!

Another friend of mine insists all three of her children were conceived in the morning as she believes her and DH's body are well rested and relaxed!

Anything is worth a try as I attempt to avoid IVF and private fertility costs...

Previously I have seen information online suggesting sperm has its own 24 hours clock and is more 'alive' first thing in the morning?
Also there's a theory that ovulation tends to happen between 5-7pm (very specific!) So that might also tie in with having sex earlier in the day so the sperm is there waiting if you have sex early enough on O day.
😂 Not sure personally but thought I'd chime in!
