What's happening to me :(

Hi lovelies.. I just want somewhere to have a bit of a rant if I'm honest 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
I'm STILL waiting on AF after my implant removal on 4th August. I know it hasn't been very long at all, but before the Nexplanon implant I was regular like clockwork and just really fed up of having ALL the AF symptoms and yet nothing happening.

I've had 4x 'positives' with Tesco tests last week, and then negatives following that.
I've had some light discharge this week which I never usually get. Nausea, hard / sensitive nipples occasionally, stomach cramping / shooting pains very down low in my stomach.

I'm really not sure what's going on, so took another test today and yet again negative (this was a Tesco one, same brand I got my positives from...)

I just don't know who to turn to, nobody in my circle really understands as I'm the first of us TTC.
What's going on with me 😔😭😣

Can you try a different test?

RMarieClaire · 29/08/2020 18:20

It's so hard, OP. I'm sorry to say that it took me 5 months to ovulate and regulate after the implant - although I then got my BFP first cycle. No one had warned me it could take a while - up to a year I've been told since - which is so unfair

. It's as if doctors only care about avoiding accidental pregnancies not educating on how to actually get pregnant.

RMarieClaire · 29/08/2020 18:22

Also you'll probably have seen since that the tesco tests are known for a lot of false positives. It's amazing they're still available

Bells3032 · 29/08/2020 18:23

I've heard awful things about tesco own tests. Deff try another brand

ttc97 · 29/08/2020 18:26

@orangejuicer

Can you try a different test?
@orangejuicer I've tried a clear blue and FRER last week and both completely negative.. I'm really confused and feeling so crappy at the moment 😔😣

@RMarieClaire it's so frustrating isn't it! I was told by the nurse today on the phone, when I called the clinic that removed it, that you'll typically ovulate 7-14 days after removal, regardless of if you bleed or not. I'm not sure what's going on with me!! I agree - I think it's so unfair and rubbish 😔😔

@Bells3032 yes I've heard they're not great at all, I've put down my tests to negatives but still heartbreaking and awful getting your hopes up 😔

UPDATE: AF has arrived! I'm so happy I almost cried this morning 😭😅 how silly hahaha!
Can't believe how much I've been worrying about it - I can't deny I'm in absolute agony and it's only day one.. so a bit worried about what's to come 🤣 but so pleased!
