Hey everyone just need to rant, (dont want to keep moaning to dh)
Heres my story, been ttc for 2 years after 10 years in the pill. This month started taking pregnacare and dtd alot during fertile window!
Ive been for blood tests and dh sperm test but it just came back that he was slightly below average. I'm having more bloods (post ovulation this month) and he has to have another sperm analysis.
Im 7dpo, dont feel pregnant, bbs feel sore like usual. Do you think its possible to think you aren't pregnant but are? I know pms symptoms can be so similar? Just trying to hold on to some hope! Im just struggling as i feel everyone around me is just getting pregnant straight away! Ive even given up alcohol and dh has seriously cut down on his. Sorry rant over x

Hi @Luckylola12
I'm not in the TWW but on day 7 of cycle 16 so I feel your pain. It's so difficult and very emotionally draining at times.
The fact you're having tests and moving forward in the process is positive though.

I think symptom spotting is normal. I have months where I convince myself every little thing could mean I'm pregnant.
I think it would be too early to have symptoms at 7dpo so I say it would be possible to be pregnant without feeling like you are. Implantation sometimes hasn't taken place by 7dpo so there is still time.
I also feel like I all I see these days are pregnancy announcements or babies being born. I've gone through periods of no alcohol too. It's just so hard to know what to do for the best. People say to 'relax' and just do what you'd normally do, but it's much easier said than done!

Morning @Luckylola12
I'm the same. So hard to relax. Although I feel like I've become very negative over the last few cycles and I haven't held out much hope at all.
Yeah, my cycles are pretty regular. I go between 27-29 days. Are yours?
I've had my post ovulation bloods which came back fine and partner has had SA, but the result wasn't conclusive so he needs another. I also have an ultrasound and appointment with the fertility specialist in June. So trying to focus on those and the fact things are moving forward.
I'm not sure about the CM to be honest. Have you tried good old google? Haha.

LSL0708 · 29/08/2020 08:28

September, not June. Don't know where June came from - Ooops!

Luckylola12 · 01/09/2020 12:11

Hi @LSL0708 sorry i didnt see you reply! Im glad things are moving forward for you and bloods came back fine =) my cycles are betweem 33-36 days, long but regular so thats something! Im such an obsessive googler i think i need to stop haha! I normally have more cm after ovulation but this month ive had nothing apart from that one day! So now im wondering if i am because its different to other months! Only time will tell, currently 11dpo so not too much longer to wait!

Hi @Luckylola12
Sorry for the late reply. We had a week's staycation and I wanted to try and forget all things conception related. Easier said than done, but it did manage to occupy my mind a lot more.
How are you getting on?
I'm the same. I think I try to turn every little thing into a symptom. So I'm constantly googling!

Luckylola12 · 07/09/2020 21:30

Hi @LSL0708 glad you managed to get your mind off of it for a bit =) unfortunatley af turned up 4 days ago! Had a very emotional day =( but i've heard lots of good positive stories on hear from women that have got their bfp 2 years + trying! So staying positive =) how are you doing?

LSL0708 · 08/09/2020 19:41

Sorry to hear AF arrived @Luckylola12 but pleased you're managing to stay positive. I think it's easy to get caught up in stories of people falling straight away when there are so many people out there in the same situation as us. It always helps to read some stories to keep your spirits up.

I'm doing ok. The staycation definitely helped but I feel like it's in the forefront of my mind now I'm home. I have my ultrasound tomorrow, first appointment with the fertility clinic next week and DP's second SA the following week. So I feel like there's a lot of focus on it at the minute. Just trying to focus on the fact it's moving forward which is positive.
I didn't track anything this month but I think I ovulated late last week so I'm just beginning my TWW. Here's to hoping it goes quickly!

How are things coming on with your tests?

Luckylola12 · 09/09/2020 13:28

@LSL0708 its good that your moving in the right direction with all the tests =) i suppose atleast thats keeping your mind focused that hopefully the tww will go quick! Plus you never know this might be your month =D

My post ovulation bloods came back fine =) DH has his 2nd SA at the start of next month and then im not sure where we go from there!

LSL0708 · 09/09/2020 13:34

Hopefully! That would be perfect. With not tracking or anything this cycle I'm not holding out much hope, but you never know. Trying to remain positive :)

I'm pleased your bloods came back fine. At least that's one thing! Hope the second SA goes ok. Keep me updated on how you get on :)

Have you had an ultrasound yet? I had mine this morning. They didn't say much, other than my uterus is slightly heart shaped, which apparently is nothing to worry about. But the consultant should have the results ready for my appointment next week, so I'll hopefully find out more then. Are you under a consultant or just the GP?
