Did I miss my chance?

Hey

TTC and I am pretty sure I ovulated August 25th. Got positive OPK on 23rd but ‘felt’ something happening on 25th.

Anyway, we dtd up until 24th and didn’t manage the 25th.

I feel a bit bummed as we missed ovulation day and a lot of people make sure to dtd on ovulation day (SMEP also advises this)

Any positive stories which don’t include dtd on ovulation day x

I would also like to know this

Sperm can live for a few days inside the uterus and will wait there for the egg, so you are still in with a chance. By DTD on the day of ovulation you would have increased your chances but there should hopefully still be sperm waiting for the egg from the day before
