Hi lovelies- I'm just curious.
I had my Nexplanon removed on 4th Aug 2020, and have been having AF type symptoms recently but no sign of AF whatsoever 🤷🏼‍♀️😣

Hey :)
I had my implant removed on the 14th June. I had a short period on the 19th which lasted four days. I am now 7 weeks pregnant, although all ovulation tests didn't read as a peak! Baby dust to you, hope all things go well!!

@HopefulCat
How amazing, congratulations! 😍🥰✨
I'm not having any luck with ovulation tests at all, all really dull and no sign of AF at all either so feeling a bit rubbish! Hoping it comes soon! Xx

This was years ago for me and was an Implanon implant but mine didn't come back for a year. I eventually went to the GP and was given a big dose of hormones to kick start it. It was horrible to take, made me very nauseous, but worked and then had normal cycles from then on.

@MurderousChicken ohh you poor thing, that sounds awful but at least it got your body going again!
I really haven't been waiting that long for AF in all fairness, but just feeling so fed up!

I recently had my implant out. I tracked ovulation with opks only and think I ovulated 39 days after removal. Then first day of AF was on day 49 (which I know is a super short luteal phase but hoping that will work itself out this first proper cycle Confused)

Replying as I found there to be very little information, even just anecdotally, about this (and obviously spent the whole 49 days frantically googling Wink)

I had a dc 9 months and 10 days post removal.. No period first..

ttc97 · 24/08/2020 21:55

@DunaDreaming I agree, there really is such limited information out there I've found. Feeling so alone and unsure as to what is happening with my body! It's awful x

@Beachbodylonggone aww how lovely! That's amazing, just shows how incredible women's bodies are. I have had 4 faint positives with Tesco tests but then a series of negatives on clear blue and FRER.. so feeling a bit unsure as to what's going on! X

For me it was around 10 months, then another 8 untill we conceived our little girl, but we conceived our 2nd little girl after month of trying so pretty quick and everyone is different

I had mine removed the 6th of July (whilst on my period). Got my first period afterwards on the 1st of August, it was very light and nearly watery (sorry for tmi!) Im coming off anti anxiety meds so waiting until after my next period which is hopefully in 3 days to ttc!

ifonerememberstoturnonthelight · 25/08/2020 04:15

2 weeks

I had a withdrawal bleed within days of it coming out (not a proper period - very light and only 2-3 days). I started taking agnus castus and had a proper period 10 days later. Then bam I was pregnant.
