Experiences of clomid?

Today I started my first cycle of clomid! I feel nervous/excited to seen if it does anything! I have pcos and also been on metformin for 5 months.

What are your experiences of clomid?
Did it work for you or not? And if so how many cycles did it take?

Hi Sarah,
I had 50mg of clomid on days 2 -6. I took it for 6 months. Had follicle tracking and a blood test the first month to check I had ovulated. Yes it made me ovulate but sadly I still didn't get pregnant. However for many women on here it works within the first 3 months. So good luck! X

Hi, long time ago - my dcs are 23 and 24. I was very lucky, it worked first time both times. I hope you are as lucky as me.

I did 10 rounds of clomid between 2015 - 2017 and conceived twice. First time I had an early miscarriage and then a few monthly later my DS. I was also on metformin for 7 out of those 10 cycles.

I'm currently TTC baby no2 and clomid didn't work for me at all this time so I was swapped to letrozole. It worked but I didn't get pregnant and I'll be doing one more round of letrozole before we end up moving to private treatment.
