Restoring your body after coming off the pill! Support needed :(

This is now my 6th cycle since coming off the pill.

It took me 2 months to have a period, then I had a 28 day cycle, a 35 day cycle and last month was a 41 day cycle. I also haven’t can’t be sure if I have even been ovulating so this month I have started temping. CD15 now and no rise in temperature or CM yet.

We do not plan to TTC until December/January and am using these next few months to track my cycle and get as fit and healthy as I can. However with my cycles seeming to just get longer I am getting a bit frustrated!

I wondered if anyone can share any wisdom on encouraging your body to settle back down after coming off the pill or supporting your body to ovulate?

Also any success stories from people getting pregnant after years on the pill or with irregular and long cycles?

I’m just starting to feel a bit down about it all!

Thank you X

Hi OP,

I did the same in 2017 - came off the pill and gave my body time before TTC.

I have always had long and irregular cycles. After speaking to my sister (midwife) she recommended to take Agnus Castus up to ovulation to make my cycles more regular and boost fertility. It worked.

I also read the book taking charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler to learn about temping and just my body in general and I felt this really helped me to understand everything.

Hello - there's a whole bunch of us on the below thread if you want to join us! I'm on cycle 8 but came off the pill back in Oct last year. Still got slightly random cycles and am battling post pill acne and greasy hair lol.
