Anyone testing at the end of August? Help me resist testing early!

Would love to meet ladies testing at the same time so we can stay strong together.

1DPO today. For the first time, I felt ovulation pains. And for the first time I had a clear temp spike today (which will hopefully last next few days to confirm). We also BD every day for 5 days 😴 despite the heat!

As such I know my hopes will be high this month. Really don't want to test early as my cycles are still regulating and I'm not sure I can handle the long wait for AF (last cycle was 45 days.

Hi! I'd love to join the wait with you. I am also 1dpo. I felt the pains as well. We dtd plenty over the fertile window so fingers crossed.
I am hopeless with waiting to test! Af is due on 30th August but I plan on testing on the Friday morning (28th August) if I can wait that long haha
When do you plan on doing your first test?

I am one dpo as well dh works away from home and is only back fri sat and sun and I got my surge on sat afternoon. We dtd on Friday, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Very lucky it timed beautifully. Fingers crossed for us all.
I don’t want to test early either get way too stressed and obsessed.

Morning ladies! I'll love to join! I had my surge on Friday, we've pretty much DTD to cover the whole of my fertility window and more 😂 I had a chemical last month so hoping it has worked this month! The 2WW is so long however I have lots of distractions this time, heading back to work next Monday after maternity leave and taking all children (3) camping this weekend before school begins so fingers crossed it takes my mind of it or any symptoms. How are we all feeling? X

@LorrieLu I was going to hold off until the Friday but I just realised I have an appointment to give blood on the Thursday so I guess I'd better test that morning just in case! This said, it seem so far away!

@HollowayL30 I'm so sorry to hear about your chemical. This is the reason I really need to resist testing early. Hope this month is the one fo you!

I am feeling fine - bit of back ache today but know deep down that that will be because of sitting at my desk all week on an uncomfortable chair. So no symptoms. BUT, I had no symptoms with my first either so trying to stay positive. Plus I'm only 5DPO. Feels like a lifetime!

Anyone else had anything?

Can I join, I'm 4dpo after a chemical last month. Don't think we got the timing right this month so I'm not optimistic but we shall see!

@RMarieClaire Oh god I know I do say to my DH are we mad 😂 However he did want 3 of his own but has narrowed it down to two... he has made having the 3rd the easiest thing so one more to the crazy life we have won't change much.

The last two days I have been so tired like shattered where I'm struggling to keep my eyes open and the worst headaches however that has gone today thank god! I'm due on in 7 days and defiantly not going to test early just incase I'm disappointed. How is everyone doing? X

I’m 4/5dpo (I still don’t understand the peak fertility on the cb opk)

I had a mmc confirmed 20th of July, & surgical management on 27th of July.

We decided not to wait a full cycle before trying, making sure we had a negative pg test and tracking ovulation to help with dating if we did get a bfp.

I’m not too optimistic. We were lucky and fell first time in June, but my cycle might go wonky this time. It’s saying af is due on Monday if my body had gone back to 28 day cycle, but I only ovulated last weekend so I’m hoping that my cycle has just increased in length.

That’s a big essay. I apologise 😂

I'm 3dpo today, actually used opks this time and had very clear ovulation pains the evening of my peak test so I have a much better idea of when my fertile window was this month! Fingers crossed for everyone, the wait is the worst bit.

@Sansa87 I'm so sorry for your MMC. I hope this is your month. They do say you are extra fertile after so FX for you

@HollowayL30 we are also trying for our fourth. How old are your kids? Mine are 10, 8 and 5.

@LorrieLu Morning! Ahh how exciting! Mine are 8 well nearly 9, 4 and 1. The littlest just had his injections the other day and now has a full blown cold 😫 I'm due on in 6 days!! I'm trying to think of every symptom I have and analysis... is anyone near testing yet? X

Oh I've jinxed myself, AF turned up today at 5dpo. Cycles still sorting themselves out after DD! Oh well. Best of luck to the rest of you, hoping to see some good news!

@Heyha - I'm sorry to hear that. I'm also still regulating after DD but seem to have gone the other way with crazy long cycles. If you haven't already, look into Agnus Cactus/Vitex it's supposed to help you regulate. I hope next cycle is your month!

Anyone symptom spotting like crazy? Mild headache last night and last two nights I've woken in the night needing the bathroom. Only 8dpo today though so too early for that really!.

We are considering pausing ttc after this month to as OH job is up in the air and we may have to move. I know that's sensible but can't help feeling extra desperate for a BFp this month even if it does complicate things even more!

Hello not sure how many DPO I am (I had a few LH surges throughout my cycle!), but if my cycle is going to be the same length as last cycle then AF is due tomorrow (it's varied quite a lot these last few cycles).

@RMarieClaire I've definitely been symptom spotting! Just annoying that the symptoms are so similar to PMS! Throughout Thursday night I had stomach cramps, so I assumed that was AF starting, still not come yet though. I've still got occasional cramps but not as noticeable. On Friday PM I needed the toilet what seemed like every half hour! That's died down now too, so maybe I was just drinking loads on Friday! I was really tired on Friday, and even more tired yesterday, seem to feel a bit better now though. That could just be because it was the end of what felt like a long working week, or because AF is due.

I'm going to try to hold off on testing until my period is a few days late (like I said, my cycle has been quite varied lately so there's no reason why this wouldn't be another odd one), so I'm aiming to test at the end of this week. This is my first cycle TTC #1, so I'm trying to be realistic, but I'm also really hopeful, so hoping I'm not too disappointed if I'm not pregnant!

I'm trying not to think too much about symptoms haha otherwise I'll be convinced I'm pregnant with every little thing I feel. Im 7dpo now and going to test when I'm 11dpo (Thursday)

I'm the same I'm trying not to think about everything although I just have a feeling I'm not, I do keep getting weird sensations in my nipples and I did break out in spots around my jawline with I read is hormonal which I never get spots! I'm going to test next weekend I think. 😂

7dpo here. I’ve had af like cramps the last couple of days, & creamy cm.

Af could either turn up tomorrow, or my cycle has changed length and I’m still in with a chance.

I have no idea when to test if it doesn’t turn up tomorrow!

I'm 6dpo now. No symptoms as yet but wouldn't expect them really. Last cycle I was nauseous on multiple days of the 2ww but must have just been PMS. Really hope that's not just my normal PMS symptoms now as it wasn't fun 😂. I guess we're all entering that time when symptoms really become a thing though now 🤞🤞!

Hello all yes, I'm also trying to not read into my symptoms too much as I don't want to get my hopes up! This is my first ever cycle TTC, so it's the first time I've really been noticing and thinking about these symptoms, so maybe I get them every cycle but don't think too much about it!
I'm doing a big supermarket shop today and I'll pick up a couple of pregnancy tests, hope I can resist using them until later in the week!

I know @igloo92! I can't help thinking that as I'm 9dpo I could conceivably get a BFP. But with no symptoms and no implantation bleeding I think safer to wait. I'll be 12DPO when I test Thursday which Will be pretty conclusive. Not feeling hopeful so I'll have to buy some nice wine to enjoy if we're unsuccessful
