Trying to get pregnant after depo

I had my last depo shot in September 2019,it was due Dec 19 but myself and my partner decided we'd like to try for a baby. I had been on depo for just under 6 years.
I have been having regular periods again since April 20 but still no joy getting pregnant.
We have 3 children already
Has anybody got any experience where depo is concerned and know how long it may take to get pregnant?

@Amyy44 can’t be much help as I came off exactly a year before you and I’ve been trying over a year and no luck. I don’t have any kids though. When I had a google, it said as long as you were an ok weight, periods had come back regularly and you got positives on OPKs then you can pretty much assume the depo has left your system so hope that helps.

When I was trying to get pregnant I had been trying ages then friend told me to do this so I had a pint of grapefruit juice every day until first day of period then drank pineapple juice and took an evening primrose oil tablet every day - took few months after started this but then it worked a treat
