Hi new here, so I came off the coil in Jan to try for a baby with my partner. I have 2 children from a previous relationship so I know I can conceive. My partner was with his ex for 11 years and they did not have a child together and no birth control was used in that 11 years, but she had 2 kids from a previous relationship so she also can conceive. Me and my partner really want a child together but he wont go to the doctors he said he feels less of a man if they tell him he's infertile. Do you guys have any success stories on a similar situation to me? Starting to get really upset every month I dont conceive x

Hiya!
Sorry to hear your struggles. I can totally relate. I have two children from a previous relationship. My husband and I have been trying for a baby together for 3 years with no luck. We have both been tested and are both fine. I really suggest you really talking to him about seeing a fertility specialist because many problems can be resolved but if you don't know about it The months/ years will tick by. Even if there is nothing wrong at least you will feel more relaxed that it may happen or decide if you wanted to go for an alternative journey for a baby. My husband was super nervous and convinced it was 'him' and it's neither of us. Just reassure him that your in this together and you'd rather know either way. I'm sure he will come round. It's still only early days realistically.
Good luck xx

Would he do an at home fertility test? You can get them from the likes of Boots and Amazon and may provide some answers
