Am I having a chemical pregnancy??

Hello, need help/advice from anyone who has been through anything like this please!
I am currently on day 37 of a 28 day cycle and don't know what my body is doing. I know I definitely ovulated between day 15-17 as I had a really obvious rise in my bbt and clear cm.
I have taken several tests in the last week, 2 have shown super (like SUPER) faint positives and the others (including digital) have shown negative. I haven't had a positive test since Tuesday which makes me think I am having a chemical MC so have been waiting everyday for af to confirm this. Another test this evening confirmed still negative. Has anyone been through a chemical MC, how long after your negative test did af arrive? Any advice greatly appreciated as I feel like I am going mad! Thank you 😊

Do you have pictures of the positive tests? You could be having a MC but in my experience (I've had a few) you will still test positive until after the bleeding stops at the very least. It is also possible to skip a period some months, it's more common that people realise, even for those who are normally very regular.

Thanks for replying! ☺️
I don't have pictures, the line came up within three minutes on all three (one pink test two blue which I know are notorious for evap lines!). Me and OH could see them straight away but they never got dark at all so definitely possible for all three to be evap lines. Haven't had any positives since. I think you could be right about just missing one this month! I really feel like I'm about to come on but it never happens, and I don't have any pregnancy symptoms either. Very confused!

That is very frustrating for you! I hope you get some resolution soon.

I’ve had chemical pregnancies before and started bleeding soon after negatives. A line is a line OP! You had conceived. My cycles kicked in straight away after I’d bleed after the CPs so hopefully yours will too.

I’m in a similarish position now re CP. 38, think I’m peri- menopausal. Cycles over the las year have moved from 28-26 days regularly. I have an IUD. Today is day 32 and I just started my period. I tested two days ago and think I saw a super faint line. I wondered if I’d had partial implantation but it couldn’t stick due to IUD. It’s the first time in 5 years since having it in that I’ve been really worried I have been pg.

I've just had a chemical - positives on FRER, Sainsbury's and ICs and a 1-2 weeks on digital. Digital positive came Weds, others Tues. Positive on Thurs, didn't test Fri. By Saturday - ICs and CB totally negative, faint positive on Sainsbury's test which was gone by the afternoon. AF arrived Sunday - the date it was due. If I hadn't tested I'd never have been any the wiser BUT at least I know I can conceive. Fingers crossed for you.

It's a shame our bodies don't come with a guidebook, we never really know what they are doing! The more I think about now, the more I'm sure the positives were probably evap lines, I took another test this morning and it literally couldn't look any less positive (I can't attach a photo yet but the line is so faint it has GOT to be an eval line, oh couldn't even see it). I think I will sit back and wait for AF, although if I haven't ovulated it will be a long month! Thanks for all of the advice 😊
