Just wondered if anyone has conceived after having sex 2dpo?

I think eggs only live for 12-24 hours after ovulation, so think the chances would be small.

How are you confirming ovulation? If only opks, you can ovulate between 12-36 hours later, but most people count ovulation as the day after a positive, but it could be up to 3 days later, so a possibility.

If you're temping and already had your temp rise, I'd say the window has gone.

I been using opk's to determine when I ovulated so counting from that date. But didn't realise you ovulate between 12-36hrs once taking the test. So let's see 😁

Good luck, opks just show that you're body is trying to ovulate. So you might have timed it well 🍀

Most pregnancies happen from the days BEFORE ovulation rather than the day of Imari on or even the day after. 2DPO puts you way outside the window

Yes the egg CAN live UP TO 24 hours but realistically it's more like 12 hours. Plus a perm has to go through a little known process called capacitation before it's even capable of fertilising an egg and that can take up to 10 hours
