First time doing ovulation tests, can someone help me make sense of it? Is the 1.58 peak day incorrect because I had the test the wrong way round for the picture?
Was CD16 the actual ovulation day? If so, isn't 1.18 a bit low for ovulation or is this normal?
Thank you so much!

You're correct that CD14 and 15 were the wrong way round which is why it's got the wrong numbers.

CD16 looks positive to me. I wouldn't worry too much about the number, just that the rest line is as dark or darker than the control line.

Sorry that should be test line not rest line

Thank you for your response! How long after the peak is the fertile window? I.e. today is CD17, am I too late?

Yes cd16 is the peak reading.
Ovulation usually occurs 12-36 hours after a peak reading.

I had a peak at 5pm yesterday and my husband is away from yesterday lunch till tomorrow 😭!

Ovulation usually occurs 12-36 after ur peak test and ur peak was on CD16. So u are ovulating probably today. It’s not too late if u DTD ASAP. U would have had higher chance if u DTD on CD16 and 15 as they sperm is then sitting at at the ovary awaiting the egg. But if you can get it in today and tomorrow you are still in with a chance. Best of luck

And dont forget...opk only picks up a lh surge...it doesnt confirm thy at you have ovulated...keep dtd for the next few days (as you see fit) in case you get another lh surge!
How is your cm?

RubbishMum2 · 08/08/2020 15:07

Based on CM I would have thought I ovulated yesterday, so it seems to add up! I went by CM with DC1 and conceived that day :)
