Looking for advice about the 'day 21' progesterone test. I know it's usually done 7 days past ovulation.
Would 10 days past ovulation be too long to get a result?
When making the booking with my GP, the earliest blood test slot they had was 12 August. I didn't know exactly when ovulation would be, so I said okay.
Since then, I had positive OPKs (LH surge) on 31 July and 1 August - so may have ovulated on 1 or 2 August. That means 7 days DPO would be this weekend, Sat 8 or Sun 9 August.
So... what do you think I should do about the blood test app? Beg for an urgent appointment this Friday (5-6 DPO) or Monday (8-9 DPO)? Or would Wednesday (10-11 DPO) be ok?
For the record, it's probably a long cycle this month, as my suspected day of ovulation was either CD 18 or 19.
