BFP after 8months.What worked,what I felt

Hello ladies,
Been TTC for 8 months and finally have my BFP!! Every month Ive been google-ing like crazy, trying new stuff, and feeling lots of different things. Now when my ttc journey is over, I would like to share with you my story, maybe it would help some of you. The most important thing Ive learned is that WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT!!! There is no rule when it comes to ttc, it takes a different amount of time for each of us, it takes different methods, there is NO miracle product that works for everybody.
The second thing Ive learned is that 'just relax' is bullshit and the worst advice you can give/receive. Yeah, of course, stress doesnt bring anything good in your life, but for some, having a baby needs to be more than just having sex. You need to actually TTC and to understand what is happening with your body in order to have that BFP, which for me is not equal with stress but more with implication/dedication.
Anyway, I think the most important thing when ttc is to use ovulation tests, apps are not accurate. Ive been taking prenatal supplements forever now, DH only took them for 1 month, having my legs in the air every single month, eating healthy, having 1 glass of grapefruit juice every day and taking evening primrose oil to help with my CM, eating pineapple core or brazil nuts in my TWW, tried conceive plus lube, different positions, different days or hours, keeping my feets warm, relaxing, not relaxing...nothing worked. But glad that I tried because that was the only way of finding out what the problem is . This month we dtd 3 days in a row (day of ov, 1 day before, 2 days before) nothing before that , nothing after and using Preseed lube. Now this is definitely NOT a miracle product that fix all the fertility issues, but if you notice you dont produce EWCM please try it. I knew my cm is not the best but tried to resolve that with EPO without luck.So now I m one of the people saying that Ive got my BFP first month of using this. For me its not a coincidence, but keep it mind, it only works if you have issues with your CM.
Now when it comes to early symptoms, the only thing I felt in my TWW was pressure in my uterus 4-5 DPO.It was not pain and not even cramps but just a feeling like doing many many sit-ups or having a full bladder for the whole day. 10 dpo is when my period type cramps started so I was sure my af is around the corner.BFN 9, 10, 11 DPO...faint line on IC at 12dpo, clear bfp on FRER and clear blue at 13 dpo.
Was very very hungry at 13 dpo, 14dpo hungry and exhaustion.
15 dpo my nipples are extremely sensitive, never felt something like this, is so different from my PMS symptoms.17 dpo today and I cant touch my nipples it hurts so bad. Still hungry and so tired. Thats all...the months Ive felt everything it was BFN for me.
Wish you all good luck and hung up in there, its not easy I know but it is not impossible and you can do that!!!!!

Thanks for this @MissAR 🙂 and congratulations on your BFP!

Can I ask how intense and for how long your AF type cramps lasted? I'm convinced AF will show up later today because the cramps are pretty bad/normal feeling ha, was there must difference for you between AF cramps and pregnancy cramps?

MissAR · 03/08/2020 10:28

Thanks everybody!!!!

@Quercus3 for me it was exactly the types of cramps I will have 1-2 day before af comes...no difference.pretty intense but not like first day of af when I need pain killers hope it make sense.
Had them everyday from 10dpo untill I think 15 dpo so even after having my BFP

@MissAR not me that asked but thank you for your cramps analysis! I'm TTC #2 and have had cramps for the last 4 days on and off, was due a period on Saturday but still nothing other than the intermittent cramps. With DS that was 4 years ago now so I don't remember if I felt any cramps at all, but I do know that usually I get cramps the day before my period starts so this feels different... But then I'm too scared to get my hopes up too much! Congrats on your pregnancy x

@MissAR thank you, that's good to know 🙂

So pleased you got your BFP!

DoctorBambino · 03/08/2020 11:59

Congratulations @MissAR and thank you for sharing! Im heading into cycle 6 and hoping my time will come soon! I've tried grapefruit, pineapple, preseed, keeping feet warm etc. Decided this month not to do any of it except opks and pomegranate juice!

Did you use opks all 8 months?

MissAR · 03/08/2020 13:06

@mummabubs try testing if you are late🤞🏻
@DoctorBambino yes, except the first 2 months when I just wanted to see what happens.I don't ovulate the same cycle day every month and don't have any symptoms so Opk were really helpful for me.

@MissAR I have- 3 times since first day of missed period but last time it took 5 days before I got a bfp. I think I ovulate a little later so it takes longer for the hormone level to build up for me. Thanks 😊
