I'm in 2WW 3DPO and been up every 2 hrs to pass urine and dying for a drink. Had twinges/pulling in lower abdomen all night and a weird full feeling in the bottom of my belly. Where's everyone else at in 2WW and how are u feeling? x

Hi @EJay84

I'm 9DPO. For the past 3 days been slightly nauseous, had a "stitch" type pain low down in abdomen and had vivid dreams.

EJay84 · 01/08/2020 08:51

@LemonDrizzle44 fingers crossed for you it means something. I've been watching videos of people getting BFPs at 9DPO so gonna start testing from then. I'm so impatient! 9DPO will be 6 days before AF is due so might get something on a First Responder if there's anything there x

Please try not to symptom spot TOO much! Remember that for every woman, there is a progesterone surge in the week or so following ovulation. This will stay high if conception has occurred but reduce to trigger AF if it hasn't. Any symptoms between 0dpo and 7-12dpo (depending on when implantation occurs) are only down to this progesterone surge, which happens whether or not you're pregnant. Any genuine pregnancy symptoms wouldn't start until after implantation and in most cases, probably quite a bit after. A positive at 9dpo may be possible but I would imagine that those women ovulated earlier than they thought. Any symptoms at just a few days after ovulation are only progesterone-related and happen whether or not you're pregnant Smile.

Hi guys, can I join in? I’m pretty sure I ovulated over the last few days but not totally tracking as this is 1st month ttc and I’m trying to be chilled about it (failing miserably!). TWW is annoying! I’ve had some pains in my lower back but maybe just imagining it! I didn’t have any symptoms with DC1 and I got my BFP 11 DPO, going to try and wait it out til then to test but I know I’ll end up doing it before then, I’m very impatient! Fingers crossed for you all - hoping to see lots of BFP’s on this thread shortly!

EJay84 · 01/08/2020 17:14

@GanderousGoose Och, I know. I'm going to be a nightmare! 🙈

@missmini Of course. I'm the same. Wanted to wait to test day before AF due but know I'm gonna start from about 9DPO.

When you guys test, do you leave it and look after the allocated time or are you like me and stare at it the full time? 😂

OP posts:
MissMini · 01/08/2020 17:29

@EJay84 stare constantly!! I really am a nightmare. I’m glad it’s not just me Smile.

How are you guys all tracking ovulation? If I don’t fall pregnant this month I’m thinking of getting some tests.

Nam095 · 01/08/2020 17:39

Hi ladies hope I can join in on this 😁 I’ve just started my 2WW so will be testing on 13th (if I can wait that long!)

@MissMini I bought some ovulation tests from femometer and also started tracking my BBT, I’ve attached the photos of my test results and my BBT chart, I find them so helpful!

LemonDrizzle44 · 01/08/2020 17:40

@EJay84 I usually leave it on the bathroom side and come back after 2 and a half minutes (if it says to read within 3 minutes), I can't be staring at it 😂

@MissMini I'm usually quite clued up with tracking my symptoms. I get ovulation pain and monitor CM. This is my first month tracking BBT as I had a really long cycle last month and wasn't sure when I ovulated.

Me and DP have not been properly TTC but will be pleased if it happens. I came off the pill in January and this is probably one of the first month we've actually DTD regularly near ovulation (he often works away which is making TTC harder). This is the first month I'm really getting some symptoms too! I won't get my hopes up though.

MissMini · 01/08/2020 17:53

Thank you @Nam095 I will look into this. I know what you mean, such a long two weeks!!

Fingers crossed for you @LemonDrizzle44. Hard not to get your hopes up with symptoms. When are you planning to test?

LemonDrizzle44 · 01/08/2020 18:23

@MissMini AF due on Friday (7th). I have one test left. So will hold out til then (...if I can). Deliberately not buying more to stop me testing early 😂

ARIO · 01/08/2020 20:34

Hey all, @EJay84 I'm 3dpo today too. Getting lower back pain and nausea and get all excited but then look back at my chart last month and realise I had the exact same last month haha. I'm planning on testing next Saturday. I actually leave for holiday that day so hopefully I'll find out one way or another so I know if I can drink!! A week to go....

EJay84 · 01/08/2020 21:57

Hey @ARIO looking forward to seeing how we get on. I'm going to sneak a wee early test in next Fri just incase. I have a BBQ I wouldn't mind a wee drink at and would wanna check if there was even a hunt of pregnancy. This is my first month tracking so I have nothing to compare it to as I've only had one period since coming off the Mirena. I've even tried to work out when I should be feeling implantation pains lol x

ARIO · 04/08/2020 16:43

@EJay84 how you getting on today?

EJay84 · 04/08/2020 19:29

Symptom spotting as usual lol. Been up the past 3 nights to pass urine every couple of hrs, which is unusual for me and been crampy on and off. Time will tell I guess. I'm just getting hopeful. How about you? x

OP posts:
MrsCrumbtious · 04/08/2020 19:56

2po and full of bloat 🐷 remember when I was pregnant with Crumb#1 I had almost no symptoms and my boobs even stopped hurting like they did just before AF arrived.

Anything and any symptom or lack of symptom is a possibility 😉 keeping everything crossed for us!

Nam095 · 04/08/2020 20:12

I’m only 3/4dpo today getting some mild cramping but doubt it’s anything to take notice of so early. I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait till 13th for first test though haha

EJay84 · 04/08/2020 21:01

I just saw you can get a pregnancy test checker app to help analyse the faint lines. Guess what I'm downloading lol? x

OP posts:
ARIO · 04/08/2020 21:25

I'm 5 dpo and have had really strong cramping and low backache on and off for the last day or so. Wahh I just want to know! Off on holiday Saturday morning so might do a cheeky test before I go even though its only 9dpo.

EJay84 · 04/08/2020 22:55

I really hope we are lucky @ARIO X

I'm 6dpo! Can I join?

My PCOS acne has just.... cleared up. This chin acne has been plaguing me for almost a year and suddenly it's vanished so I'm clinging into wondering if it's a sign of something.

Sadly everything seems completely normal Confused

Oh well if nothing else I've got my good skin back

Nam095 · 06/08/2020 13:50

Feeling some weird twinges and pressure in my abdomen today! One more week to go 😆

@EJay84 @ARIO how are you both feeling today? x

@myfavouritefudgecake that’s funny you say that, I’ve had some type of acne on my chin for the past year or so, as soon as I stopped my pill it went! Crazy how much our hormones affects us

ARIO · 06/08/2020 14:16

Hey, I'm 7dpo today nothing really to report out of the ordinary! AF due in 3 days apparently but don't seem to have usual pms symptoms 🤔

MissMini · 06/08/2020 16:32

Has anyone done any tests yet? I think I’m about 7DPO and desperate to take a test but sure nothing will be showing this early. Have had a few cramps but nothing really.

myfavouritefudgecake · 06/08/2020 16:56

I doubt there will be anything 7dpo. So as hard as it is, I would wait.

myfavouritefudgecake · 06/08/2020 16:59

@Nam095 yeah. I think hormonal acne is linked to low progesterone? The hormone you need to carry a healthy pregnancy. So obviously I'm reading all kinds of things into it. Makes sense that you had it on the pill and it got better off.

I have pretty normal discharge/mucus patterns in line with my usual cycle so that feels a bit of a sign in the other direction. Although this is all speculation as I've absolutely no idea what to expect
