Ovulating 4 days after bleed - low chance of conception?

Hi all. I came off the pill 3rd July and then had a withdrawal bleed 24th-28th, I started doing OPKs since 28th out of curiosity and it had a fairly visible line, so I’ve been doing them every day and they’ve been getting darker every day, and today is my peak today. But I’m worried that because I had a bleed only a few days ago that there won’t be enough lining in my womb for an egg to implant. Would anyone else agree to this or am I thinking too far into it?

The concern would be more that an egg needs minimum ten days to mature, so an egg released on CD4 is unlikely to be viable.

However - a peak OPK does not mean you've ovulated, just that your body got ready to. Many women get multiple surges in a cycle and it's only the last one that actually results in ovulation, if at all. So please carry on testing in case this wasn't it.

The only way to really know if you've ovulated is by tracking bbt - but as this is your first cycle TTC it might be a bit daunting to try it just yet! I know it took me 6 cycles before I took the plunge 😅

@Juno231 hi :) thanks for your response. I actually am tracking my BBT haha, it rose yesterday same day as my OPK peak and has risen again slightly today. I’ve attached a picture of my chart. I actually can’t test OPKs in the afternoon as I have a bladder condition so I pee like minimum 10 times a day so by that point it’s too diluted to show up on the test sticks :( I guess I’ll have to wait and see in a few weeks if AF arrives, which I’m pretty much expecting anyway. Just have to keep optimistic

To be fair the first cycle after the pill is a bit funny anyway - so you might be in with a chance! Drink pomegranate juice to thicken your lining :)
