Hi everyone,

I am a 42 year old woman. I have decided t to conceive with sperm donnor via IVF. I am so overwhelmed in terms of finding the right place as there seems to be so many. Would any of you know of a clinic with successful pregnancy rates for women my age in Yorkshire/Midlands area who also happens to offer financing agreement? I really would appreciate your help and guidance. Again, I feel very overwhelemd there are a lot of options and any help in narrowing down my search would be greatly appreciated. Vik..

I don't know the area but I would reccomend the HFEA website. You can put in your postcode and will list all the clinics including their success rates. Please make sure you take them with a pinch of salt as sometimes the higher rates are because the have stricter assessment criteria before they'll take you on.

Create have good success rates for older women. They also do a finance option but only over 12 or 24 months so to be honest I found it cheaper to take out a bank loan - obviously done tell them what it's for - I said mine was for a car 🤣 (£13.5k over 5 years is £275 a month and this is for a 3 cycle package)

Over 42 and you need to factor in multiple rounds.....

This is much cheaper than the cost of full time childcare if you are successful (£850-£1300 a month) or the cost of giving up a salary to raise a child
