Light period after miscarriage or implantation?!

Hi everyone, I had a MC 6 weeks ago, I was 7 weeks pregnant at the time. It was a complete MC and had a negative test 2 weeks afterwards. I feel like it's been such a long wait to have a period, but what I'm experiencing now is so confusing. On Saturday I started lightly bleeding, not even enough to fill a pantyliner. And now there's hardly any bleeding, only when I wipe. I have no cramps, no pain, but nausea, headaches and dizziness Confused. I have suspected endometriosis and was told the first period after a MC was awful. And of course I've been obsessively doing tests - all BFN. Maybe it's too early.

So I wanted to ask if anyone has had anything similar? Am I being too optimistic thinking this is implantation bleeding? Is this just a light period? Should I wait until I've finished bleeding to take a test?! Thanks ladies!

Hi @NH01, we're just bumping this thread for you in case anyone's around with some advice and support.

Hi @NH01
Sorry for your loss. I had similar. I counted it as my period and started tracking again from there. I never had the awful period I heard about. My next one was 5 weeks after and I usually have 25 days cycles and ever since then I have had 25 day cycles. Hope you are back on track soon! Or. Even better, hope it is implantation bleeding for you and you've been successful!

Thanks for your reply! I eventually started having heavier bleeding and cramps for 1 day, but it's almost like my body took a while to realise it was a period. At least my body is getting back to normal, will keep what you've said in mind too for my next period. Thank you!
