What did your implantation cramps feel like?

I believe I am 8DPO/9DPO today. On Friday (5DPO/6DPO) I began having slight lower back cramps sporadically, which have become more frequent and have migrated to the front, where you would normally get period cramps. I had frequent lower back cramps last night as well as the very mild period type cramps. Today I've woken up and I've got a tender spot and a low, dull ache. I've also had sore, radiating breasts the last couple of days, which doesn't usually happen until AF is due, which for me isn't for another 4-5 days.

I took an internet cheapie test this morning and got a BFN, which I appreciate might be too early for an accurate result as they aren't the most sensitive and it's still very early. I have ordered some FRER which I will start tomorrow morning...

For those of you who have experienced implantation pain, what did it feel like and at what part in your cycle did you start experiencing it?

Hi @TTC2021, no insight I'm afraid but following as I'm having a similar pain at a similar point in my cycle. I am probably just symptom spotting and I know everyone is different and the only way to know for sure is to wait for my period, but I'm driving myself mad!

Hi @Quercus3

Are you having the same type of cramps? They are quite unusual for me at this point in my cycle, I did think it might be wind but the cramps / twinges have been going on for a few days now. I did take an IC this morning and got a BFN. Waiting on some FRER to arrive from Amazon now.

Have you tested yet?

Can't help regarding the pains, sorry. I've had an implantation bleed with 2 pregnancies, but don't recall any pains or cramps. Nothing different from an odd twinge, which could be bowels, wind, ovaries or uterus which I could get at any time of the month. Both bleeds were tiny, 2mm specks I noticed on toilet paper. One was pink, the other more yellowy/pink. Nothing on underwear and nothing red or heavier.

Hi @TTC2021 yes they started as AF style cramps and then got duller and almost a bit tingly for the whole of yesterday. I think they have just about gone this afternoon. @Elouera you are right, they could be a number of other things - I know waiting to see is the only way to know for sure.

I haven't tested yet, I'm going to try and wait till the 4th which is when AF is due. I've only got 3 tests left in the house and I'm determined not to waste them 😅 I've asked OH to hide them so I'm not tempted! When are you testing?

TTC2021 · 27/07/2020 14:39

I tested this morning on an IC and got a BFN. I’m waiting on some FRER and I will test tomorrow (9DPO or 10DPO). If that is negative I will just wait until AF is due which will be the 1st.

Literally no idea what you’re talking about with all the “TTYL8r” mumbo jumbo. (I know that wasn’t used, it was just an example” 🤣

But to me they felt like period pains, but more intense. The first time I got them I thought I was going to come on, then never did. Also, a little later on, I felt like a pulling down sensation in my uterus.

(:

Turned out those cramps can be a symptom of early pregnancy. Still having them today, I feel very achey and heavy down below, and some back twinges too.

@TTC2021 ahhh amazing news! Congratulations, so pleased for you 💚 how wonderful. You've made me want to test now! Although my cramps have gone so maybe I'll wait.

@Bodgedboxdye 😂 have only just got to grips with the pregnancy lingo, it's a whole new language!
