Chances of twins

I have twins that run in my family (mums side) so I know the chance is already there but is there any way to increase my chances of conceiving twins that anyone knows of?
DH and I want a large family (and do plan to adopt as part of that, but after we've had all the biological children we want) but I'm not a huge fan of being pregnant so if we could have twins that would be amazing!

Unfortunately no @Clift19 - dizygotic (non identical) twins run down female lines, due to a genetic predisposition to releasing more than one egg at once. Theres no way to make that even more likely. Monozygotic (identical) twins are random.

The only other things that influence this chance are fertility drugs like clomid that promote ovulation and therefore can make some people release multiple eggs.

Okay! Just have to cross my fingers then 😂
