May I have some advice please- EWCM or LH peak?

Hi.
This was my first month using OPKand my LH peak was Tuesday morning (CD 13). So we have been DTD lots since Sunday. I am a bit baby danced out and was looking forward to an early night (husband works until midnight). But now I have just noticed I have EWCM.
So do I assume I ovulated Wednesday as the OPK suggested, or should I wait up tonight too just in case?
Any advice for anyone who has been using OPKs for longer?

I’ve only used them for one month, but I missed my window because by the looks of it my body tried to ovulate and didn’t. So my advice would be to keep at it some more for the next couple of days.

@Marden11302 Thanks for your reply.
Do you mind if I ask how you know your body 'tried to ovulate but didn't?'

Sperm can live in optimal conditions for 5 days so if there is egg white then i would suggest doing the baby dance, however we cant focus our lives around the baby dance and if you want a night off, have a night off. Last month me and the OH did the baby dance loads and werent successful, this cycle we did the baby dance once because we were just too busy or tired and im currently 4+2 weeks pregnant, sods law really! My point is take it easy because you could still have been successful as it is x

@NatJayne87
You're right. I reckon waiting until tomorrow morning won't do any harm.

I got pregnant within months of coming off the pill originally but lost the baby.
Once my body was finally on a cycle again, we were ready to try full steam ahead. We tried every other day which was a failure then we tried every day after positive OPK which ended in a chemical pregnancy. The next month we did the same. As soon as AF was over, we did every other day until the OPK was positive (which means you will ovulate within a day or two, possibly three, depends on how high your LH surge goes) until for about 5 or 6 days I think and I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant now. It's similar to the Sperm Meets Egg Plan. We didn't want to do more than once a day in case it wasn't healthy enough.
I used OPK internet cheapies and the digi one (although my chemical messed that up a little) and I took my temp every morning. Once you have the temperature rise you know your body did ovulate. Also if it stays high for over 16 days or something it means you're likely pregnant.

@Thewhalewhisperer basically I tested with clear blue ovulation, got a positive result, quite early in my cycle. About 10 days later I had classic ovulation symptoms, but cause it was my first month ttc I didn’t think much of it. However I’m now cycle day 36 no period, negative tests, so I believe I ovulated when I had the symptoms, my body tried to ovulate earlier on when I had the positive results, failed and then it tried again. This is all so new to me, and this is basically what other more experienced people have told me is probably what happened. Hope that makes sense!
