Anyone got pregnant from DTD 3-4 days before ovulation?

Being tracking my cycle for a few months. Not actively trying to conceive yet but not against it either. Realised we DTD on CD10, pretty sure I ovulated on CD13 or CD14 according to OPKs.

Has anyone become pregnant from DTD 3-4 days before ovulation? Also which days in your cycle relative to ovulation are considered 'safe'?

I know several people that have conceived by DTD 3-4 days before OD. The odds are a bit lower than in the 2 days before ovulation though.

If you use apps to track your cycle with they will show you what your expected fertile window is. The safe period is outside of this fertile window. Sperm live for up to five days so the idea is to not DTD five days before ovulation and the day after.

BUT! The apps purely guess at when ovulation is and a lot of women find they ovulate much earlier/later than they thought so the safe period per the apps might not be so safe after all!

I've been using the apps and they are saying I ovulated on CD16, but my cycles have been all over the place (45 days, 27 days, 33 days) so I am pretty sure the app is just guess work at the moment.

I definitely had an almost positive OPK on CD12, I stupidly didn't do OPK's on CD13 and CD14, but CD15, 16, and 17 have all been slowly fading so I think I ovulated on either CD13 or CD14.

OPK tests. Todays was even lighter, now it is saying I have 'low' fertility.
