Does this sound like a chemical pregnancy?

Hi all, so basically I tested the other day with fmu and got a very line (it appeared straight away so I don't think it was an evap) however the line very quickly faded to a negative - I tested again that afternoon and it was gone. The next day I started spotting. I then got my period soon after and it was very light and I didn't have cramps like usual - it really didn't feel like a period at all because of how light it was. However that was five days ago and my 'period' is still ongoing but seems to be getting heavier now which is strange at 5 days on. I'm just wondering, does it sound to you like I had a chemical pregnancy? I've never had one before so not really sure what happens. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Some tests get the dye through so the line appears and then travels as there isn't any hormone there... so it's like a line travelling
So if that's what you mean by came up straight away then faded it's normal just a negative test.

If you mean your second test was negative after a positive with fmu, well it could be a chemical.
But it depends how many dpo you were?
Also in the afternoon your urine will be less concentrated so wouldn't expect the same result as morning..

But if you haven't had a clear positive test i think it's hard to know what happened... nobody here will know x

The periods I've had tgat I wondered about chem pregnancy were slow to get going, thick and dark for a few days then quite a heavy period. I don't really understand CPs though. Part of me thinks at least there was a sign my body was trying to make things happen?!
