Day 14 or Day 21 bloods?

I’m wondering if anyone can please clear up my confusion regarding some blood tests my doctor is sending me for.

In the email she says the first lot of blood tests are done between day 1-4 of my cycle (so day 3 bloods) which I was expecting. She then said the second one, progesterone, has to be done on day 14 or when I think I might be ovulating. I was under the impression that the progesterone test is normally done on day 21?
Obviously, I’m no medical expert but if anyone has previously had these tests can you tell me if you think this is a typo or are there are actually day 3, 14 and 21 tests?

@riverriot I'm no expert but I'm fairly certain if it's progesterone they're testing they'll do it CD21 (or your equivalent of your cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days) as progesterone normally reaches its peak 7-9 days after O (I think). Only thing I think they'd test for at 14 is LH, but seems odd as normally that's captured in CD3 bloods (just had mine done and LH was included). I'd query it if I was you. Good luck! x

That’s exactly what I thought. LH already included in Day 3 bloods as you say. She didn’t reply to my query so I’m going to try and speak to a different doctor.
