Clear blue Ovulation Tests straight to a static smiley face

Hi

I had a chemical pregnancy back in March and since then my periods have been 24 days in length and last about 24 hours.

I thought I would track my ovulation so last two months I have had the usual circle then 2 flashing smiles and the static smile.
This month I started testing and had the circle ⭕️ For four days.
Yesterday I went had had reflexology and she said my uterus(The pressure point on my foot!) felt Unhappy but not surprising as had a lot going on and high stress levels.

Last night we DTD and this morning I had a static smiley face . No flashing ones this time round.

Does anyone know why it went straight to a smiley face? Could it of been the reflexology that evening or another reason.

Also do we need to DTD again tonight or should I wait until tomorrow night ?

It can happen it just means it didn't detect the usually rise in estrogen first which normally gives the flashing smiley and probably picked up the beginning of hour LH surge

General rule of thumb if you get the static smiley in the morning the following day is classed as ovulation. If you get it in the afternoon/evening then it's not the next day but the day after which is classed as ovulation

Hi @shinybadger I've just come across this thread and wondered how you got on? The exact same thing happened to me after I had reflexology...! Went from blank to static. Slightly gutted as I was waiting for the flashing smiley to start our marathon of DTD but went straight to static and a bit worried we've missed our window.
Wonder if the reflexology had anything to do with the quick LH surge?!
