Hi I’m just looking for some advice before I ring the drs tomorrow I don’t want to waste their time has anyone ever experienced on and off bleeding after a chemical.

I found out I was pregnant end of May and had a chemical on 5th June 2020 when I would of been exactly 5 weeks from last period .I bled for 3 days and stopped completely.
On the 15th June I bled again and this time it was for 4 days.
I then started bleeding again 1st July and I’m still bleeding now but since yesterday I have been feeling very crampy but previous to that it was just the first two days I felt crampy like a normal period pain.

Is this just normal after a chemical or is worth getting some advice from a DR?

I would want to talk to a doctor with those symptoms. It's not unusual for cycles to be a bit messed up for a couple of months after a chemical pregnancy but it's best to be sure that's all it is.

How did you diagnose/confirm the chemical?

I would give you doctor's a ring just to check. It could be perfectly normal and just your cycle trying to get back on track, but better to be on the safe side. Sorry to hear about your chemical; I had one in May and it's rubbish. :(

Really sorry you've had a chemical 💐 I had one last month. My period was a little heavier than normal, but after it finished I didn't have anymore bleeding. If it was me I would speak to the doctor just to make sure everything is okay, hope it settles down soon x

Thanks everyone. I rang the drs after I started bleeding who told me to take another test in a weeks time which I did and it was negative she said there was nothing else they could do at this stage the EPU wouldn’t scan me until I was at least 6 weeks was there something else I should have done? @Curiosity101

@Bam27 thank you

I don't think there was anything else you needed to do. I was just curious if it had been confirmed with a negative test.

In that case I hope everything evens out quickly for you, but I don't think a quick call to the doctors just to double check seems unreasonable.

I’ll give them a ring tomorrow @Curiosity101 thanks for taking the time to reply x
