I’m 6dpo, anyone else in their TWW? How are you feeling?

maryberryslayers · 12/07/2020 20:03

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ 5dpo today! I ovulate bang on CD14 every month, but AF shows up between 28-31. I don't know when to POAS, I like to think I'll wait until AF is overdue but there's no chance I'll last!

TheOrangeMonster · 13/07/2020 20:14

Has anyone here had zero symptoms and then a BFP in the past?

OP posts:
Sdoo4 · 13/07/2020 21:31

AF due tomorrow so will see if it turns up. If not I’ll go buy a test. Been feeling quite sicky today and hungry even after I’ve just ate. Now getting a stitch like pain in my left side.

CrimeCantCrackItself · 13/07/2020 22:20

With my DS I had the exact same symptoms ad I would have for AF orange I could see the tests getting darker and the line progression but felt like AF was going to arrive for at least the first few weeks.

Fingers crossed for you sdoo

TheOrangeMonster · 14/07/2020 17:40

@Sdoo4 fingers crossed she stays away!
@CrimeCantCrackItself interesting. I’m still mostly symptomless at 9dpo not even usual AF symptoms (just the one sore boob) but this morning at 5am I woke up with stomach gripes which I’m 97% sure was something intestinal rather than lady-parts-related. I’m hoping that now we’ve started using the Preseed it’s going to change something, because apparently up til now there’s been nothing wrong with us that a doctor could see.... how many dpo are you now Crime?

OP posts:
CrimeCantCrackItself · 14/07/2020 21:07

I'm 9dpo and getting AF gripes. Standard sore tits and heavy in the nethers. Already resigned myself to a period . Sad hows your day been orange? Any further rumblings?

How is everyone?

TheOrangeMonster · 14/07/2020 22:28

@CrimeCantCrackItself just some stomach cramps (non-uterine!) after eating. To be honest I just think it’s impossible to tell isn’t it? Fully expecting AF on Sunday as usual. The day o finally get my BFP they’ll find me on the bathroom floor passed out in shock.

Sdoo4 · 15/07/2020 09:35

@TheOrangeMonster I just tested an OPK again since that’s all I have and it was a very dark positive. That could mean AF is on the way though, I need to get a test so I can stop thinking about it!!

TheOrangeMonster · 15/07/2020 19:30

@Sdoo4 I don’t know much about using OPKs to test for pregnancy but I’ve heard the hormones are very similar and so sometimes OPKs can pick up HCG. I think you’re right, just buy a pregnancy test.
I had bad intestinal cramps again today after dinner, but tbh it could just be a weird phase. Maybe I ate something a few days ago that disagreed with me.

Sdoo4 · 16/07/2020 09:43

@TheOrangeMonster I’m going to test today. Still no sign of AF, although I keep getting AF type cramps that come and go. Usually I get very painful cramp the day of AF and that’s it but no sign of it. Felt a bit nauseous this morning so I’m at the stage of thinking if I’m not pregnant what is going on?

CrimeCantCrackItself · 16/07/2020 14:01

Fingers crossed for you sdoo4 have you managed to get hold of a test?

How are you today orange? Any news or developments?

I'm 11dpo today, planning on testing with an IC tomorrow morning. Sore boobs which are standard before AF and I feel like I'm just waiting for it to arrive. Got my fingers crossed though.

TheOrangeMonster · 17/07/2020 07:33

FFS, AF just arrived 2 days early with really bad cramps. She’s never, never in my life early. I know when I ovulate because I use OvuSense to measure my CBT and it was on cd24. My luteal phase is 13 days - so why was this one only 11? Could it have been a chemical or is that not a thing? 😡😫😭

CrimeCantCrackItself · 17/07/2020 08:25

Sorry she got you orange that's shit. Flowers

I think you can only class it as a chemical if you get a positive test. I know my cycle can fluctuate wildly, but if yours is always the same then I think you should get back to the doctor. You should have been referred if you've been TTC for over 12 months.

Sdoo4 · 17/07/2020 09:30

Hi all, didn’t have a chance to get a test yesterday. Woke up at 6am this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so got up, took the dog out then went to Sainsburys for it opening.

BFP!! done a cheapie first and the line was so dark then done another and nothing was happening, think it was faulty so tried the clear blues. Don’t know what to do with myself now!

Anyone on their 2WW now?
TheOrangeMonster · 17/07/2020 09:30

Thanks @CrimeCantCrackItself
Yeah, we’ve been in and out, apparently there’s “nothing wrong with us”. I’m ovulating, his swimmers are fine. They can’t figure out what’s going on, and they won’t refer us for IVF because of my age (26) which is horrible. They keep telling us we have loads of time to keep trying. I know that’s true, but clearly being young isn’t helping me here.....

OP posts:
TheOrangeMonster · 17/07/2020 09:31

@Sdoo4 congratulations 🙂

OP posts:
CrimeCantCrackItself · 17/07/2020 09:44

I think if you're heading into 21 cycles then I'd absolutely be pushing for further investigation, especially considering your age. Have you ever taken any supplements? If you've got PCOS could it be the egg quality?

Congratulations sdoo4 lovely news!

TheOrangeMonster · 17/07/2020 12:25

@CrimeCantCrackItself I’ll make another appointment soon anyway, now I won’t take no for an answer.

OP posts:
CrimeCantCrackItself · 17/07/2020 12:55

Absolutely start pushing orange and don't be fobbed off. There's obviously something going on and you deserve answers. And surely the earlier you are refered for IVF the better!?

TheOrangeMonster · 17/07/2020 13:57

I know, I was fuming when they said that. It took us 6 months to be taken seriously by a GP after the first year, which we both think is because I was still 24 at that point. I don’t know what’s wrong with some of them, it’s just as bad as saying someone who’s 36 is “too old”.
Personally I think it’s some kind of issue with implantation. Surely by now a sperm has met an egg at least once, we DTD every other day!

OP posts:
CrimeCantCrackItself · 17/07/2020 14:08

Absolutely you deserve better. I'd genuinely recommend taking myo-inositol, I got mine off Amazon. That's supposed to help egg quality which can be affected by PCOS. I've been taking folic acid too. And omega 3s/cod liver oil. Basically anything that would improve my egg quality because I think that's been half my problem.

SVC11 · 18/07/2020 07:52

@Sdoo4 yay so exciting look at that lovely positive! Fingers crossed we all get one of those! My af has been and gone so I'm on CD 6 I think now. Hubbys away for work this month so I need to drive miles and miles to see him next weekend to catch ovulation... Fingers crossed it will be worth it. This will be cycle 3 for my.
@TheOrangeMonster what a nightmare, I think you are well within your rights to go back and push for ivf if you need it... Who are they to tell you when in your life you can do these things... Good luck xx

Marden11302 · 18/07/2020 09:34

Did my test this morning
Period isn’t due until Tuesday, but I’m 14dpo so think I’m out this month
Thought I could see something but think it’s all in my head!

Anyone on their 2WW now?
OneStepOneStumble · 18/07/2020 16:04

I'm 11/12 dpo today and just done a FRER. Am convinced I can see a line but it's a squinter on photos. And now people talking about false positives on FRER 😩

Anyone on their 2WW now?
SVC11 · 26/07/2020 23:30

I see lines on both @marden11302 and @OneStepOneStumble... Any more news?
