Is this a positive ovulation test? Could I be in with a chance?

I’ve attached a picture of today’s ovulation test. I’m still breastfeeding my 8 month old so my cycle has been everywhere.

Me and my partner DTD late last night and I took an ovulation test today and got what I think is a positive test. Yesterday’s one was nowhere near as dark so I’m quite surprised. Can you get false positives?

We probably won’t get a chance to DTD again for a few days as our PIL are staying whilst work is done to their house, so I think last night was our only chance this month. I’m hoping I’ll still be in with a shot.

That's a positive. Try to have sex in the next couple of days if you can, even just if your in laws pop to the shops or similar! Maybe encourage them to go a nice walk or something haha

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you! I’ll try and get them out the house with our DCs. If I can’t, do you still think I’d be in with a chance? Their visit is so last minute I don’t want to be completely out this month. God knows when I’ll get another cycle it’s that messed up

Absolutely still in with a chance yes Smile, just a better chance still if you do it again.

Could you perhaps play the "DH and I are exhausted from lockdown with the kids and they are so excited to spend time with you, why dont you take them a lovely long walk to x park they like" card?

Sorry, just realised your littlest is only 8mo so may not be as easy as that!

@TheDaydreamBelievers we have two DS’ that they don’t get a chance to see very much so I think they’ll jump at the chance to take them out somewhere on their own, they’re always asking to when we already have plans so fingers crossed!
