I'm 6 days late but I'm too scared to test!!!

Hi all,

Been trying now for 6 months and Aunt Flo has turned up ever 30-35 days. I'm now at day 40, with none of my usual PMS signs or a period. I'm sooooo hoping I'm pregnant but just too scared to test in case it's a BFN!!!
The only positive signs I could be are lack of PMS and period and needing to wee every hour!!!!
Just want some positive vibes to give me the courage to take the test!!

I don't know how you haven't tested yet! I would be dying to test as soon as I missed one day! Haha. Do you track ovulation - if so do you know how many DPO you are?

I haven't because I'm so convinced it won't be the answer I want. Bought a clear blue today and think I'll take the plunge in the morning. I track it on an app so should of ovulated 19 days ago according to that. Sooooo nervous, just want a BFP!

I know the feeling so well. With DS2 I tried for a year to get pregnant, although the length of my cycles meant it was like 6 months for anyone else. Every time it got to certain point I would start to get excited, get a BFN then period would arrive.

The time I was actually pregnant I just kept putting it off until a friend went and actually bought me a test, and sure enough I got my BFP that day.

You're very restrained not taking it! We're ttc and I do test just before af is due.

Fingers crossed! I know how you feel, took 9 cycles for us and after the third cycle I just stopped testing in advance as I preferred living in hope rather than seeing a BFN , DH had to push me into the bathroom the month we got our BFP, I’d have happily waited another week! Funny how it affects us all differently - figured at least I’d saved some cash not being a POAS addict makes up for the shedload I spent on Clearblue digital OPKs I guess

This was me 🤣 I got to 18 dpo before I tested, my partner made me test because I was adamant I wasn't going to( 2 years of trying made to soo pessimistic) I'm now 18 weeks! I'd absolutely test so you can get on the preg vitamins and for your own sanity! Good luck my fingers are crossed for you!!

I hear you, I didn't test until I was a week late this time, Im now 16 weeks PG, Hope you get the result you want!

Your will power is rock solid. I just tested at 8DPO! I wouldnt even wait for the evening, if you're late HCG should be high.

Sounds positive for you - go for it! I hope you get the answer you want.

You've all had such positive results, my DH is the same asking me every day!!! I had pelvic inflammatory disease when I was 21 so always worried about getting pregnant one day but now it's possibly here I'm terrified of a BFN

You are worried that it might be negative. Do the test and find out! Why spend your time worrying when you'll know one way or the other?

If you're 6 days late and pregnant the test would show up regardless of FMU or if you did it now.

Did you test OP? I’m 4 days late and after 5 years TTC DC3 I’m scared to test too. Somehow even buying a test might make AF arrive

@30somethingyorkie I know how you feel. I’m 7 days late, usually have 28 day cycles and still getting negative tests 🤷🏼‍♀️

@30somethingyorkie so sorry to bear that, I am 5 days late and have taken 3 tests, all negative so I know how it feels , so disappointing

AF is due for me today but no sign of it yet. I’ve never tested as I always just Think AF will show up. I’m holding off for a few days So fingers crossed it doesn’t arrive!

7 days late, 5 tests, all BFN, no sign of a line at all 😭 I'm cursing the day I ever took pregnacare vitamins, have no idea when my period will come now and it's just thrown me right off .
Hopefully this time next week I'll be back on track.

@AnnaPosie you’re not out of the woods until AF arrives. I took a test on Sunday at 9 days late and very faint positive 👍🏻 I was also stressing! 😂😂
