can anyone offer advice - 8 days late

Hi Everyone, so my cycle is normally 28 days (+/- 1 day) My last period began 3/6 (possibly conceived 21/6) and my period was late, i took a test when i was 3 days late and it said negative. today i'm at 8 days late, i was planning to test again at the weekend however ive started bleeding today but its very watery and not my normal flow.

Has anyone else been in the same situation? no-one knows we are even thinking of having a baby so cant ask my friends/family.

Id love to know other peoples experiences?

You might be having a hormonal imbalance of your period has gone light and if the BFN is right. Or you could be due a BFP if you've been successful in TTC. Until you do your next test it will be hard to know which. Stress (particularly in the follicular phase) can make cycles longer, along with other external factors, so even though you typically have 28 days sometimes the body likes to throw a curve ball and go "this one's going to be 36 days!". Fingers crossed for you!

thanks! yeah its just so confusing, i've been trying to research like a mad woman but theres some many things with conflicting information online. Ive been trying to think if anything could have just made me late such as stress or exercise but i cant think of anything. Its just the uncertainty thats so annoying. i just want a yes or no..

if my cycle was just 28 days then i think i may have just missed the ovulation date so being pregnant is probably less likely but if my cycle was longer then perhaps i did conceive as the dates would more likely add up as i remember my discharge being much more slippery those few days. When do you think i should take the test again?
