Really faint line? Am I pregnant?

Hi everyone!

Some help would really be appreciated as to whether you see a line or not?
Testing at 8dpo so I know it's early but I've had a lot of symptoms over the past few days including nausea so thought I would test. I think I see the faintest line but I'm not sure!! It would be a big surprise if it turns out to be a bfp that's for sure!

This was mine at 9DPO.
No symptoms, just wanted to test before taking ibruprofen.
FRER confirmed the next day and then digital 2 days later. Get yours a FRER

I'm also 8dpo and decided to do a test this morning due to having constant back/pelvic pains, my test was exactly like this, I'm so worried it was just an evap though!
I will probably test again tomorrow morning just because I have no patience whatsoever 😅

@butterflyxo- Sorry, I can't see anything. Is that a one step test? I would never use these ever again. When I actually was pregnant, the test was so incredibly faint, there was a dud batch which showed nothing, and last month I had a single positive test whereas all the rest and other frers were negative! you might be preggas, but I'd test with a frer to be sure.

@spinksy9 Thank you! I took a test again this morning (9dpo) but looks exactly the same, have ordered FRERs so waiting patiently for them to arrive! How long was it until you got your BFP? Xx

Mine looked exactly like that 7DPO which I think is quite early to get a line! Now 16DPO.

I got it the next day and monday but today it was fainter and I started spotting so mine may be a chemical. I hope you get your BFP soon!x

@roep2018 That's so exciting thank you, congratulations! How many dpo were you when your line got significantly darker? Xx

@spinksy9 Sorry to hear that, I had spotting after sex yesterday that lasted for 10-20 minutes which was odd? May be in the same boat with you, it's so confusing this early xx

I had similar over the weekend- so I tested using FR and got a VERY faint positive. Tested again this morning with a stronger positive and had a digital positive. This comes after a MC in March so I’m cautiously optimistic but my advice would be to try a FRER. They’re also pink dye so less chance of a false positive.

So I'm not entirely sure what's going on, I did two different tests today. Both cheapies, but I had to take one apart because it had this casing over the results window which was very blurry. Let gonna try again tomorrow with a one step.

One is one step and another is some other cheapie from Amazon. Let me know what you think xx

@sho2207 I can see both lines but in the second picture the line is definitely darker, is the line in the second pic more of a pink colour in person? Fingers crossed I think a congratulations may be in order soon!!
I'm not going to test anymore using the internet cheapies, they just mess with me! My FRERs are arriving tomorrow so will keep you updated on my results from those Xx

Yes definitely a pink tinge to it, and was within time frame. I also ordered some frers yesterday so should be turning up in the next couple days. Gonna try hold off testing because I'm still so early and don't wanna risk getting to excited.

@butterflyxo Thankyou! I’m staying positive and praying 🙏🏼 According to my app, I was 7dpo when I got a faint line and 10dpo when it was stronger. However, the app changed all my dates halfway through the cycle so I don’t think that’s accurate.

Going by the original day it said I should expect AF, it was one day before AF was due for the faint line BnB and then 3 days after for the strong line. I think that sounds more like it to be honest!

I also had a mc in April so I'm feeling the exact same! I'm almost putting myself down and telling myself not to get too excited because it could well happen again which isn't a very fun experience for my first.

I woke up way too early for my liking which is what my body seems to be doing for the last week.
But I took another one step and I think this could be my positive, 10dpo for me.
Didn't really change anything this month apart from I didn't use opk's and drew out a table of my cycle day and knew when I'd roughly be ovulating.

How have you got on?

OP my first test on these looked similar to yours, barely visible. I ran out and got a FR and it was clearly positive. I’d suggest trying the same.

If it’s strong enough to cause any sort of line on one of the cheap strip tests, it’s strong enough to get a BFP on a first response x

So am I, just so worried it's gonna happen again. I know it sounds bad but I almost just wasn't as happy about a positive because I'm just so scared.
I'm gonna try leave it a few days and wait for my af date to come by because I've still got till Saturday/Sunday.

@pumpertrumper did my FRER today just now but not with FMU and nothing showing :( AF is due Tuesday so going to wait until then to test again!

@Sho2207 I completely understand how you’re feeling. DH doesn’t get it at all- just keeps telling me to stop thinking about it- easier said than done! I may give it a couple of weeks and, all being well, pay private for an early scan just to put my mind at ease.

@butterflyxo Definitely try to use FMU if you can. That made a difference to me when I first tested. Got a VERY faint line with FMU then nothing the next day with SMU. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
