@Suemay803 fingers crossed for us all 🤞🤞 ive just been and bought clear blue 6 days early im so impatient so will probably test Tuesday that will be 4 days early if I can hold off till then, when are you going to test?

Just wondering what DPO everyone plans testing? I am 2/3dpo (had peak opk three days ago). AF due in 7 days as I didn't ovulate till day CD23/24. Was thinking I'd test Friday when I'm 8dpo - is that insane?

I don't know why but I prefer getting a BFN before my period comes

ah @Chel93 sorry to hear ur appt been pushed back to oct.that willcome round quick, but hopefully you get a BFP in the meantime!
@RMarieClaire im trying to not get into testing :S i think my mind will go crazy! altho now totally now get the logic of preferring a BFN before period comes...! think im same as u - 3dpo, and AF due 9th or 10th ish.

I’m 8dpo today. Did a cheap test This morning and no surprises got a bfn. I have a frer in the drawer so I’m thinking I’ll leave that til start of the week when I’m 10-12dpo.
I’m the same and think I’d rather poas than wait but everyone is different.

I caved and did a FRER this morning which was negative. I think about 9/10dpo so could be too early.

Late to join? Due 10th July too ...promise myself I wont join a bus this month but here I am!
Did a few cheapies (today being 8 dpo ) and of course BFN
Got a FR Rapid test and a CB digital that I refuse to touch unless its looking very likely :/ Any one had any symptoms? I've convinced myself boobs look swollen but I have no idea if thats just me being wishful...

Hi all, hoping it's ok to join late? I'm 8dpo, due AF on the 9th. Took an early test this morning (couldn't help myself!) and it was BFN. I'm also really moody at the minute, bang on schedule with PMS really hoping it means nothing and keeping everything crossed. Might test again on Monday, or is 10dpo still too soon?

@OliR93 I don't think it's an exact science. We're trying for our second - for our first I got my BFP 8dpo, but I ovulate really late so AF was due the next day - not sure if that makes a difference 🤷‍♀️

Thanks @RMarieClaire, that does make me feel better as I'm not due on for around 5 days so I'm trying not to read into the BFN too much. Until AF arrives there's always hope!

@MrsTwentyEight I haven't really had any symptoms, just a bloated/full feeling but I haven't exactly stuck to the diet so it may be down to poor food choices recently. Swollen/sore boobs is a good sign! Fingers crossed for you. How long have you been TTC? Is it for #1?

Hi ladies, ahhh - the wait is killing me! 😣 Full on obsessed about symptoms, doesn't matter how much I promise myself I won't be!
I've managed to hold off testing so far but feeing a bit down as I've had slight cramps literally since about 3 dpo so feel like AF is on the way 😞 I had a really heavy almost 9 day period last time (sorry tmi) really not normal for me, but we DTD 10 days in a row to cover in case I had a late ovulation, I think I'll buy some test strips next time if we get another bfn. How is everyone else coping?

I was also crampy and spotted lots 3 dpo. Cramped on and off since then and spotting again yest at 8 dpo which has now stopped. Got a negative yesterday so not testing today. Maybe do a frer tomorrow or Tuesday and see what it says

I found the opk strips helped just so I knew what was happening. I did bbt this month to so confirmed date of ovulation as best I can

@OliR93 it’s for my first and technically this would be our 3rd month TTC. First being in January then Covid-break Feb till April, restarted last month and now this month.
For all my talk, I used my FR Rapid test today aaahh why do I do this! Stark white BFN 😂 9DPO today....good luck to you! When do you think you’ll test ? How long have you been TTC yourself ?

@MrsTwentyEight I've literally done the same thing as you really! Started TTC in January but I wasn't really tracking ovulation. Stopped in March due to the lockdown and work issues, and been TTC since - OPKs, clue app and symptom spotting, the works.. I took a test yesterday at 8dpo so very similar timing to you and it was a stark BFN, don't know why I did it! thinking of taking a FRER tomorrow morning so 10dpo. Will you be testing again soon? Fingers crossed this is our month

@Suemay803 opk are ovulation test strips which show your LH surge which happens just before ovulation.
Bbt is basal body temp which goes up after ovulation (I think I’m response to progesterone) then falls again just before period....or stays high if pregnant.

@OliR93 ahh we are so similar! Do you mind if I ask how old you are ? (I’m 28 if not obvious from the name haha) I've been doing the same too ...clue app and wasting all my money on CB digitals
Ahh I hate saying BFNs and still keep POASing. I think I’ll next test end of the week? (She says) I’ve had no “symptoms” so far so I’m not feeling hopeful ....though my rational side does tell me it’s too early for symptoms or hcg to rise! When do you think you’ll test next ? Sorry just catching up, welcome to everyone who’s joined us!

I’m symptom spotting like crazy too 😩 sore and tender nipples, bleeding gums when I brush my teeth, increased CM yesterday (TMI sorry!) and I cried when my OH said he didn’t like the musical Hamilton 😂. Can’t stop thinking about testing either but after having a chemical last month I’m going to try my hardest to wait until at least Friday when I’m 14 DPO. I have so many tests in the drawer though that the temptation might get too much 🙈

For those that tested early I didn’t get my extremely faint positive last month until 11dpo and it gradually got darker until 15 DPO (it got lighter after that). I read that some people don’t get their BFP until 15 DPO + especially if they implanted later.

Keeping everything crossed for us 🤞we’re not out until AF shows ❤️

I’m 10 dpo and have a v v faint line today on cheapie test (yest frer was negative). Been spotting last 2 days and af not due until Saturday so 🤞🤞🤞
