Fertility Referral/Gynae treatment- what to do first

Hello

Quite new to posting so please be find!

TTC for 13 months. I have PCOS and suspected Adenomyosis. In awful pain, v irregular cycles but plan of action was to conceive and then treat the suspected adeno with the pill to stop my cycles completely (never been on the pill for any longer than a month!)

The TTC clearly isn’t going to plan and I suspect that’s a combination of the PCOS, irregular cycles and I myself feel I may have endometriosis (though I’m not a Dr).

We started fertility referral and I’ve had my bloods done. Hubby can’t have his sample done as Andrology are closed due to covid. I can see it taking a long time and there will be a backlog. Meanwhile my pain is continuing and it’srealky getting me down.

I have private medical insurance. Would it be wise to ask for further investigations (poss MRI/ Laparoscopy) to see if there is any endometriosis in there (or anything else)? I’m assuming this would need to be looked as as part of the fertility investigations anyway?

Don’t want to confuse matters/ slow us down but equally feel like I need to do something!

Anyone have any advice/thoughts? Thank you.
