Just started fertile window - Its too hot!

Afternoon
I have just entered my ovulation window for this month. Depending on which app I use, I'm either due to O on 29th or 2nd. Ive started using OPKs from today to track it better.

Anyone else currently in their fertile window? If so, how often are you dtd? We are aiming for daily, but it is SO HOT at the moment that its hard to get in the mood

YES! its morelike oh get off me its so WARM and u r so sweaty! haha. but needs must ;) started using OPKs on 21st and nothing positive so far :( seen a few people say theyve tested a few times a day and had negative positive negative...so dont know if am missing anything only testing once in morn.suddely feel bit despondent, but its only first month have tried so dont really know what to epxect. assumed sticking with the instructions on the box id have got a positive indication now. be back to shops tomorrow to buy more!
havent been DTD daily,work got in the way and both tired and ended up missing tues and weds grrrr. weekend ahead so hoping for some positive lines on the OPKs!!! lets hope it cools down eh :)

I’ve Just finished fw. Never a good sign when oh reaction to you trying to get him in the mood is “oh noooo” 😂. ThE heat was just a nightmare. We managed To dtd day 8, 9, 10, 11 then it got too warm. Managed again day 13 and ovulated day 14 so hopefully that’s enough! Actually a relief to be into the 2ww 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

@leftitlate37 I tested once a day until they showed some signs of darkening then did three times a day. I used femometer. I had a whole day of highs before getting my peak the following day

am gonna have to get on google for to see the femometer stuff! haha love the readion when trying to get in the mood! we had a barny over who had to get up and pully the windows shut, that put me right off! usually id turn over in a huff but felt had to make amends as had DTD on day 11 and missed 12 and 13!!! glad u had managed to DTD the plenty, fingers crossed for u...sounds promising! aaaaah now the relaxed 2WW!! i'll hopefully be in that soon...assuming OPKs turns positive! in the meantime, i need ot get used to this heat!!!

This was my first month tracking opk and I found the femometer ones really easy. They’re super cheap and the app to interpret them is free. Plus easy to keep track of what’s happening

We dtd last night and it wasn't exactly a romantic story, more of a sticky, sweaty mess 😂
We've dtd on cd 12 and 13 now
OPKs still aren't showing me as peaking, but don't expect them to for a few days.

@30andTTC1 due on the 11th. I’m maybe going to test 12dpo tho. Not sure I can wait the full 2 weeks 🙈😂

@30andTTC1 that was me and my husband at 1.30 this morning. We had friends round last night for social distanced drinks and they left just after 1. But I’be started having EWCM so we needed to do the deed. It was the least romantic sex ever 😂😂 I’m hoping it will be less sweaty tonight though 🙈

Seems a bit cooler this evening, so fingers crossed it's a bit more enjoyable @KB13 😂 do you know what day you are due to ovulate?
@LT103 12 days is early, but should be able to see a faint line by then!

@30andTTC1 it would of been but my husband has just been called into work. We might be doing the deed in the middle of the night again 😂😂 not 100%sure as this is our first month officially trying and I haven’t tracked. But I think within the next couple of days. I had twinges of pain in hip area today. So not sure if that was it. But we did the deed at 1.30am so that should cover us. You got any idea of when you will?

I've got 2 apps I use (excessive I know 😂) depending on which app i go by, either 29th or 2nd I should be ovulating. I'm using OPKs this month too, so hopefully that will give me a bit more insight!

Well dtd wasn’t the most romantic thing ever I will admit. It was waaayy too hot and there were times were really were not in the mood but we did just because we knew we would be kicking ourselves if we didn’t.
My app says I was due to ovulate but I think it was Wednesday / Thursday. I’m already not overly confident this month, don’t know why.

We have been half heartedly trying for 3-4 months with the what will be will be attitude but the more it didn’t happen the more we wanted it.
We are due to get married in December 2022 too, we must be mad trying to add a newborn in to the mix.

How are you all coping ?

It’s definitely much cooler in the mornings here!!! But yeah hard to get in the mood when it’s so hot. I’ve tried to keep oh out the loop as much as poss regarding my cycle as don’t want to ruin the mood and make it all so clinical! I’m sure he knew but it’s just not spoken about haha
