CD 5 for me, should be the last day of AF. Got a fresh box of OPKs and ready to DTD like teenagers next week 😂

@dinosaurus86 yassss nothing kinkier than shoving a pillow in your mouth and desperately trying not make the bed squeak 🤣😈 enjoy!

@doctorbambino sorry I can’t help much, all I can add is that I’ve only had random spotting once and it was the first month off the pill around CD13 that I assumed was ovulation, it was browny/pink tinged CM.

Hope you're all OK , CD13 for me and OPK finally getting darker. Ovulation test still saying high but I'd say it's pretty close to the control line. Less than 2 weeks till I'm meant to have AF though so to say I'm confused is an understatement. Been DTD every other day since CD 4 though so we'll see.

@Nottherealslimshady is this your first month doing opks? Is your cycle normally same length? Could be that you'll ovulate bit later so period will be later or you may just not have the standard 14 days luteal phase. I don't mine is 12. So always worth doing the opk to check. Looks like you're not far off though. Keep DTD x

@Whilstwewait it is my first month doing OPKs , I've had lots of different types of contraception in my few years but I'm quite sure my natural cycle length is around 26 days, last month was 25. I had eggwhite CD11 this month and last. I'm gonna temp next month too, I'm finding the anxiety of not knowing if I'm even ovulating the most stressful part.

I like to think of that time as the mental health week, theres nothing to but look after yourself. Hope this is a good cycle for you

@Nottherealslimshady Mine looked like that for ages! I ovulated really late in my 28 day cycle, I was CD16/17 and I'm 5+1 pregnant now! I've never ovulated so late but it was our lucky month! Just keep testing I always found the CB test when you take them out of the digitals to always look quite dark up to the control line. Good luck!x

This morning I had my first flashing smiley face! Got ridiculously excited about it. Only CD11 so earlier than I was expecting. Perhaps there’s a chance I’ll get a peak before the weekend but I think it’s unlikely.

For those in the know, how many days of the flashing face do you normally get before a peak? I was also wondering which is the control line? Eg in @Nottherealslimshady’s picture is it the top or the bottom line?

I'm CD11 today and for the last two months I've had my Peak on my monitor on CD11. But today I got another low day. I think I may have had a chemical last month as things were definitely going on. Have peoples next ovulation dates been delayed due to chemicals? Thanks xx

@kate123cl see that's the positivity I needed 😊 still just high but paler than yesterday evening my app says its about as dark as the control though. We're getting in plenty of DTD so if I've missed the peak I've still hit the peak if you know what I mean.
@Dinosaurus86 control is the top one, furthest from where you pee. Are you using the one that has a reusable display but disposable strips? You can look a the window on the strip and see how its progressing (or not progressing in my case 🤣)

Thanks @Nottherealslimshady! I’m using the CB where you clip in the test strip (but you can have a peek at it when you take it out!). I got the blank circle yesterday and the flashing smiley today but the lines looked pretty similar on both days to me!

@Fran2020 I think we’re on the same cycle day! I wouldn’t be surprised if the chemical throws things out by a few days.

In today’s tmi news, I just got some EWCM which is very unusual for me on CD11. It usually doesn’t appear until end of CD13. I wonder if I will ovulate early or if it’s the gallons of grapefruit juice I’ve been drinking...!

Hi everyone. I'm a bit nervous now. I'm on CD 35. No AF no BFP. I don't think I have any PG symptoms, apart from increased appetite. Last month my cycle was 34 days (first time ever. It is always been 27-28 days clockwork). We started TTC 2 months ago. I have no idea what's happening 🥺

@Dinosaurus86 same, I also put them into my fertility app because it calculates the difference in the colour of the two lines.

@kate123cl heres hoping then, just some another OPK and the lines darker but still just high, I'm running out of test strips! 🤣

@nervousnoob have you started anything new? Some say pregnacare lengthens cycles.

No I haven't started any supplements. That's why I'm a bit concerned. Surprisingly my ever-regular cycle decided to turn upside down just when we TTC

@kate123cl it's the handheld that's saying high, flashing smiley. I'm using fertility friend, it has a function to compare the two lines on an image but doesn't really say anything other than ones kinda darker than the other or they're pretty much the same.
@nervousnoob its irritating but I wouldn't say it's really concerning tbh, maybe stress or you've changed something, drinking, diet. Or just a crappy fluke that you wouldn't have noticed before you were ttc. Try not to let it stress you.

Hope everyone is keeping well. I am still getting a faint line on the cheap opk. I don't expect to ovulate for another week but will start the CB on Thursday as my app says that is the start of my fertile week. Enjoying doing the opks but can't work out when is the best time . It says not to have first urine but then also says not to drink for 2 hours before doing it . I have been doing it at 2.30 pm each day so far . Only discharge I have had so far is watery. Who knows what that means 😂 .

@kate123cl glad you are keeping well . Lovely that you have stayed on here as it is nice to hear how everyone is getting on and any advice you have.

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been MIA, I haven't had much to update on.

CD37 for me and finally had some spotting this evening. Fingers crossed AF will be here tomorrow and I can start cycle 2. I've got my OPKs and thermometer ready! 🤞

@Dinosaurus86 I am CD11 today too! Last cycle I got a flashy face from CD13 and didn’t get the static face until CD19. Really hoping it comes sooner than that this month!

@cd24x I hope you can ease my nervousness. Is this the first time you're this late? It's frustrating, I would love clarity with AF 🥺 I've given up hope for BFP this cycle (I'm on CD 34) It's the first time it's gone so far for me.

@mylittlebean2019 oh wow, yes, I expect I may have a similar wait. I think I ovulate CD15/16 but not sure. It’s so lovely to have people on here to chat to at the same stage.

@nervousnoob it’s probably not helpful but I had a random 37 day cycle a couple of years ago (sparked a pregnancy scare at that point!). Seemingly no rhyme or reason for it and it was normal before and since (with the exception of the few months after I came off the pill).
