I hope @littlebee1990 doesn't mind me starting a new thread as our old one was full...

Congratulations to @SK2970 who had just posted a positive test!

@TravelGem My oh was worried about that too. We are going into our 3rd month ttc. I explained to him about how I've felt the last two months when AF arrived and actually opks will help reassure me that I do ovulate . I asked if he wanted to know or not . I think it is important we both understand each others feelings. I'll be honest I hadn't really considered that he would be feeling stressed about it all and thought he would just be loving dtd all the time 😂. Right now I'm just guessing when I ovulate so at least I will get some confirmation if I am right or not.

I have downloaded the flo app today and read that beetroot, strawberries, berries, oranges, pineapple, spinach, kale, broccoli, sunflower seeds and nuts are all good for fertility . So I have done an asda order 😂😂 . I also take pregnecare conception vitamin and my oh is going to take the Male version or as my oh calls them (baby boosters).

I have a vitamin b12 deficiency and due to get my jag so have booked that in. Maybe it will help. If not at least I will have lots of energy for dtd 😂 .

@Littlebee1990 I am so sorry to hear that. Thank you for the advice though, it's going to stop me from testing early this month.

And I'm out - AF arrived yesterday morning after a 35 day cycle :/ I've realised that my pre-AF cramps were probably related to by copper coil which I had out last month. As nice as it was to have a warning I can't say I'll miss the pain.

@1992EM I'm wondering if you're correct that I ovulated later than I though - we were doing really well on DTD but then we got a young dog and missed out for a week and a bit because we were both so exhausted...

@nervousnoob My cycle also stretched out to 35 days the first month of trying! Hopefully it drops back to 28/30 as all that waiting nearly did me in.

1992EM · 01/07/2020 05:36

@Tokoyo Sorry to hear AF has arrived. I am going to try using ovulation tests next month to make sure I am hitting the right week each month. Good luck for the next cycle and enjoy your puppy 💕💕

chrissagcat · 01/07/2020 06:22

@Tokyo29 I also got the copper coil out last month. AF arrived on Friday but the cramp for the days before it made me wonder (and hopeful) if it was implantation - now you are saying about the cramp leading up to it, makes me glad I wasn't imagining it. When it came one One day late i haven't had that bad cramp since my teenage days! Also it only lasted for 2.5 days which is shorter than ever so unsure if it will throw off my ovulation date!? My RHR was through the roof the week leading up to it and significantly dropped since AF arrived. Hopefully July is the one for us ladies x

FlyRobinFly · 01/07/2020 06:46

My cycles vary between 28 days and 33 days (though all cycles since my chemical have been 33 days) and I’m on CD33 today...eee. Skin is remarkably clear. Haven’t had my pre-period chin spot arrive. Arrives without fail every time, I have even nicknamed it Joanne after a colleague I can’t stand Grin Electric shock boob pains and have been craving rice pudding something horrid!

Definitely hopeful...had 2 negative FRER on Thursday 25th BUT...while I had sex CD14 (June 12th) it’s more likely I ovulated on the 17th presuming it’s a 33 day cycle. So I may only have been 8DPO when I tested and therefore too early.

Just have to see

FlyRobinFly · 01/07/2020 06:47

^just hope DP’s swimmers kept going that long...ugh

Foodie2020 · 01/07/2020 06:54

Oh @Littlebee1990 I'm so sorry and can't imagine how you are feeling. Please take care and we will be here when your ready to jump back on the train with us. Please try and do something that will make you smile. I hope you and OH are OK!!

Thankyou for the advice @1992EM @Fran2020 on OPK. I Have been using clue but not accurate at predicting AF let alone AF. I've downloaded Flo and have to say it looks a more detailed and better so may keep both or move over. I like the visual on clue though, lol. I have also downloaded Fertility Froend as I saw a recommendation for that.... I now have 3 apps and the CB ovulation connected ... so need to cut one at least

sle0911 · 01/07/2020 07:04

@Littlebee1990 so sorry 😔 I had the same thing happen last month and it's horrible, you can't help but have the next few years of your life planned out when you get that BFP, look after yourself and try again when you feel ready, it will happen 😘 x

Spinksy9 · 01/07/2020 07:24

Ladies, should I be worried???
Also had a little blood when i checked my cervix? AF due tomorrow so could it have been a CP? Or is there still hope? All cramping has stopped. All symptoms disappeared apart from not sleeping and no appetite 😭

Flittingabout · 01/07/2020 07:31

@Spinksy9 I'm so sorry I don't think it is a good sign as your HCG level should be doubling every 48-72 hours not going down. You are leaving the right interval between testing. Are you using the same sensitivity of test? If you are only due on today I think it might mean AF is coming.

FlyRobinFly · 01/07/2020 07:35

@Spinksy9 I’m so sorry but I don’t like the look of that 14DPO FRER. I had a chemical in March and the worst part was just that feeling of not knowing what the hell is going on until AF arrived SadYou may still be ok, definitely take it easy today and just see what happens.

Spinksy9 · 01/07/2020 07:39

@Flittingabout yes same FRER tests so same sensitivity.
I knew it would be too good to be true 😭

mylittlebean2019 · 01/07/2020 07:39

@Littlebee1990 - oh hun I am so sorry to hear this. Take care of yourself and when you are ready we are here for you. Sending you lots of hugs x

@sle0911 - that’s positive you saw a faint line! How many DPO are you?

@1992EM - I just downloaded the Flo app. Do you pay for a subscription or just use the basic app?

@Foodie2020 - I found the OPKs easy to use and definitely useful to know when you are actually ovulating. Which OPK are you going to use?

@MrsKey2020 - that’s sounds positive! Fingers crossed that you get a BFP soon. Keep us updated!

@FlyRobinFly - that sounds really positive! Haha Joanne comes to visit me too each month 😂

@Spinksy9 - are you testing the same time each day? Maybe try a digital test?

Spinksy9 · 01/07/2020 07:44

The past 2 tests were between 4 and 5am. This one was 7.15am?
I have starting spotting though?

Kalecat · 01/07/2020 07:49

Morning ladies. AF is due either today or tomorrow. I have not retested since 11 dpo as I kept getting BFNs even though I had 2 positives on 8dpo. Just waiting to see if AF will show on her own now. CM was rather sticky last I checked. Odd! Only symptoms I have are sore boobs and a "bad attitude" as my DH has mentioned 😂.

@Spinksy9 I'm sorry. That looks rather disappointing as the line should be getting darker. :(

sle0911 · 01/07/2020 07:52

@mylittlebean2019 I have no idea what dpo I am, I'm currently CD38 and I'm pretty sure the chemical last month has mucked it all up and I ovulated later than normal. Have some more FRERs coming today so will test again tomorrow and that way I should know for sure!

@Spinksy9 the same happened to me last month and unfortunately ended up having a chemical, so sorry 😔😔 xx

Whilstwewait · 01/07/2020 08:05

@ambs1994 ive read the same bout RHR. I know it does increase in early pregnancy and have heard it will increase during 2WW and then drop just before your period. I only got my fitbit this month so only checked mine from 3 DPO which was 66. Its then gone up every 2 days and today its just gone up to 70 even though i had loads of my usual pre AF spotting so id have expected it to drop. Im sorry this isnt that useful because i don't even know the pre ovulation levels but thought id share for comparison anyway.

@Spinksy9 so sorry to see that your test isn't progressing. Must be heartbreaking. As people have said it does look like it may be a chemical especially with the spotting. Im really hoping its not though xx

ambs1994 · 01/07/2020 08:33

@Whilstwewait
Mines now shot up again to 81 and always in the fat burn zone.. didn't get much sleep last night as I was suffering really badly with diarrhea (sorry). Not sure if thats a sign either. Past 2 nights its happened to me but never anything during the day

Littlebee1990 · 01/07/2020 08:36

@Spinksy9 Going through the exact same so only a message away if you want to chat. Let’s hope we get our wish soon, but never ever testing early again x

Thank you so much again everyone.

Rumples · 01/07/2020 08:43

@Littlebee1990 so sorry to hear of your CP. Testing early is great until it ends in heartbreak.

@Spinksy9 that's what happened to me last month too with my CP.

Hope you're both okay Thanks

Beepbeep42 · 01/07/2020 08:51

Morning, is it too late to join? Been following for a day or two.
TTC no2, on cycle 5. Already obsessed. AF due in 2 - 4 days and I didn't test to the peak OPK so I'm convinced I ovulated late as didnt get peak reading on day 14, 15 or 16 (it's always day 15, I think the cycle length is honestly just stress related) so I think I'm out again this cycle. I forgot how bloody frustrating this whole TTC thing is.

Really sorry to hear about the chemicals, they are so gutting to experience.

Foodie2020 · 01/07/2020 09:01

@mylittlebean2019
I've jumped for the CB connected so it will sync to the app. Less for me to do and get my head around, plus I don't want to be second-guessing whether there is a dodgy result from an IC. If it doesn't work I will swap to some less expensive ones once my head is around using OPK's but just found it all overwhelming TBH. Though the Boots own brand worked out about the cost of the CB connected as it was only £38 on amazon for stick and 25 tests (£1.52 each). Boots cheapies are a £1 each and normal work out at £1.40 without the app or ability to syn which I think make up for cost difference to start with. Though I only plan to test once a day.

Gemsy18 · 01/07/2020 09:18

Hi all I'm after a bit advice or see if anyone had anything similar, I'm currently 9dpo and been having weird cramp pains last few days which I dont get normally till day before af shows. Anyways used ovulation strip today out of curiosity and got a positive. Heard you can get a positive test when pregnant but trying not to get my Hope's up have been ttc for 14 months.

1992EM · 01/07/2020 09:21

@Gemsy18 I would dtd just incase you ovulate late. I have no idea about positives on ovulation for pregnancy though. When is AF due ?

Gemsy18 · 01/07/2020 09:27

Hi Em I ovulated around 9 days ago as used ovulation tests then also and af is due monday
