I hope @littlebee1990 doesn't mind me starting a new thread as our old one was full...

Congratulations to @SK2970 who had just posted a positive test!

I'd get it done @Fran2020
I would see the next month as a little break from it all. Drink lots. Have lots of sex where you don't feel under pressure 🥰💕

Smushty14 · 27/06/2020 08:12

@1992EM The instructions for the one step tests I have say to leave for up to 15seconds in a cup.

@Fran2020
Well I'm now CD29 15dpo and still a negative test.

@dogmam Yes I saw that but it seems specific to Fitbit so wasn't sure if anyone else had been doing that on the side 😊

@Spinksy9 and @egg2020 yaaay congratulations on that BFP!

I had a lot of Cm yesterday - so much I actually thought Af had arrived! Now I either want af to arrive so I can get started next month or the test to turn positive!

kate123cl · 27/06/2020 08:15

@Spinksy9 @Egg2020 Wow congrats on the bfps!!❤️

I'm 10dpo and got a negative on a cheapy test strip which has obviously left me a bit disheartened🙁 AF due in 7 days...is there still hope?

Dinosaurus86 · 27/06/2020 08:16

Boo, AF here. Still upset but not a surprise this month. I hate that I can’t control the process so have been making myself feel better by planning out what I can. Next month I will be drinking grapefruit juice, attempting cb digital ovulation thingy and dtd every day in fw. I already did legs up and will continue! I’ve persuaded dp to have lukewarm baths rather than his usual scalding hot.

I’m a bit concerned because both dp and I have health issues that are known to affect fertility and I’d prefer to know sooner rather than later if that is the case for us. I think it’s still a bit early for us to pay for tests but I’ll probably try something like fertility acupuncture the following month if we don’t get a bfp in July.

@Fran2020 I’m really sorry it looks like AF is here. For what it’s worth, although I didn’t pick it up officially (but I’m testing as little as I can manage because I hate seeing the stark white bfns) I am 100% convinced that last month my egg fertilised but didn’t manage to implant properly for whatever reason. I expect a doctor would disbelieve me, but I just know. Especially in comparison to this month. Last month I had very clear symptoms that I don’t get for PMS and the consistency of AF was also different to usual. I’m trying to take away some positive that at least sperm did meet egg and maybe I can replicate that next month. Although last month I was also far more stressed with work and we dtd much less so not sure why it was more successful!

Anyway, congratulations again to all the BFPs - even more new ones! It gives me hope!

And I’ll see others in the July sperm pond!

Spinksy9 · 27/06/2020 08:35

Thank you everyone!
@RoEP2018 according to my app I am 10dpo?
But this is the only cycle i didnt actually track anything and just went with the flow. Congratulations on all the BFP!
To the ladies that are yet to get them, honestly, stop tracking for a month, eat what you want, drink what you want and it will happen. I wish I had listened earlier x

DoctorBambino · 27/06/2020 09:04

BFN for me again this morning, 11dpo 😖 feeling like this will never happen and very sad but trying to soldier on.

Congratulations to all the new BFPs. And sorry to those with AF 😔

@Fran2020 sorry it didnt turn out to be lucky cycle 12. I would get the shot done again because although Rubella is rare I'd be too anxious about catching it when pregnant.

Nottherealslimshady · 27/06/2020 09:08

@Spinksy9 I see it! Congratulations!

@Egg2020 you cant miss that one, congratulations:)

@kate123cl that's what I'm thinking, I dont wanna waste the money but I also dont wanna miss my peak 😂

Nottherealslimshady · 27/06/2020 09:11

@kate123cl @DoctorBambino theres still looaaads of time yet, you're not out until AF shows up 🤞

Spinksy9 · 27/06/2020 09:23

@Smushty14 I actually thought Af had come tuesday as I had lots of CM! Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you xx

kate123cl · 27/06/2020 09:35

@Nottherealslimshady Thank you lovely! I'll try and stay positive 🤞🏼x

mrswilso · 27/06/2020 09:55

Woohoo! More BFPs! ✨
Congratulations @spinksy9 @egg2020 💕
Sorry to hear AFs here @fran2020 @dinosaur86 - Fran, my sister got her rubella vaccine AFTER she conceived, don’t know if it’s essential to have it before or more just ideal...
@kate123cl @doctorbambino I got a BFN last night around 12dpo/13dpo so I’m a bit down too but trying to remember it’s not over til the witch shows up 🤣 AF due on Monday so if I’m still holding out hope then you definitely can too 💕✨
I’ve been having some unusual CM the past week which has been getting my hopes up but still unsure whether it’s just the new normal as my cycles settle in after coming off BC pill - trying not to read into any other signs/symptoms too much this month but I’ve been tracking them in as much detail as I can in my Ovia app so that hopefully next month I have an even better idea of my usual AF symptoms.

Footymum81 · 27/06/2020 11:43

@RoEP2018 these are my lines at 11,12,13 and 14 DPO. (Top to bottom) The 14 dpo was the date my app predicted AF was due. It’s about the same at 14 dpo as it was with my son who’s now 15 months.

Ayms0 · 27/06/2020 11:48

AF arrived this morning, I feel a light sense of relief that I can move on and focus on something else! Although I am gutted as I felt pregnant if that makes sense!!

Anyway, starting a new cycle now and I want to throw everything at it. Has anyone got any tips for me? I use clear blue OPK and take pregnacare for conception but that’s it... Any other suggestions would be great, thank you!

Spinksy9 · 27/06/2020 12:24

@ayms0 I got my BFP yesterday and today at 9dpo/10dpo.
This is the only cycle where I didnt track anything! I didnt check my ovulation date, didnt check CM or symptoms, or temps.
I just ate and drank what I wanted. DTD 3 times this cycle.
Honestly I was getting annoyed at people saying "if you stop trying you'll get oregnant" but actually it worked!
Just take a couple months off and do what you want !

Fran2020 · 27/06/2020 12:32

@RoEP2018 @DoctorBambino @mrswilso Thanks for your advice about the MMR vaccine. They were only giving me one dose not two and where I've had the vaccine so many times, maybe 5 doses?! I don't think it's going to work again and I probably won't ever be able to get immunity. It's so rare in the UK because of the herd immunity, chances of getting it are incredibly low.

@Smushty14 how long are your cycles usually?

@Dinosaurus86 sorry AF is here for you too. I hate seeing those stark white tests too. I am exactly the same as what you've written. We will both definitely be able to replicate on the next cycle! Definitely take it as promising, I certainly am! Sending positive thoughts to you. How many months have you been TTC?

Wyewaving · 27/06/2020 12:43

Is this a positive?

Took a first response about 30 minutes ago. No digitals in the house. I’m due on sometime between tomorrow and 1 July.

I’m bricking it. Really, really shocked.

We moved in with my parents yesterday as we sold our house so I need to let them know.

@Wyewaving yes that’s a clear line! Congratulations

Spinksy9 · 27/06/2020 13:22

@Wyewaving congratulations, that's a strong line!!

So good seeing other BFPs !

cd24x · 27/06/2020 13:35

@Spinksy9 @Egg2020 @Footymum81 @Wyewaving Congratulations!! 🥰

@Fran2020 @dinosaur86 @Ayms0 Sorry that AF showed up 💐

CD27 for me and I think 15DPO (although this is just a guess as no tracking this month). I thought AF was about to show with all the cramps I was getting, but these have now disappeared and AF nowhere to be seen! Kind of want to test, kind of don't want to see a BFN. Popping out to co-op in a minute so might pick on up and see how I feel about testing tomorrow morning 🤷‍♀️

dogmam · 27/06/2020 13:36

@spinksy9 @egg2020 @RoEP2018 @Wyewaving congratulations to you all! I bet you are all on cloud nine! I can't wait to have that feeling!

For those with BFN but no AF yet, you're all still in with a shot so fingers crossed!

Girls who's AF has arrived.. I think it is fair to say that seeing all of these BFP gives mixed emotions. I'm 11DPO and got some spotting so think AF will be any time now so counting myself out this month, and if I am completely honest, whilst I am genuinely pleased to see all of these BFP pics from those who have followed this thread from the beginning, it's also hard not to feel a little bit more guttered that it's not me.. when's it's gonna be my turn. On a positive note though, it does give me hope that it will eventually happen. Hope you are all ok xx

1992EM · 27/06/2020 14:37

I ended up testing again on second pee of the day which I know was stupid. It was negative . Twinges in left side have stopped. I don't no if that was implantation or unrelated . According to a ovulation calculator I am anywhere from 8 to 11 dpo so I may not be as far on as I thought. Can't test now till Monday so at least I won't keep torturing myself by poas .

So happy to see so many of you have got your BFPs .

Whilstwewait · 27/06/2020 14:45

@Wyewaving clear positive there congratulations

@dogmam I know how you feel I love seeing people get a BFP but over the last 12 months ive seen so many. Some of which have now had babies and I do keep thinking when will it be my turn to post a positive test and move over to the pregnancy boards. It does feel like it'll never happen but one day it'll be us im sure. Xx

@Fran2020 so hard about your rubella. It seems odd that it never works for you. If it did work id say get it done as you don't want to end up pregnant and then worry. The chances of you getting rubella is so low thought. I've just looked it up and there's a good article on tommys advising you to stay away from children for first 16 weeks or so if you get pregnant as lots of kids these days never had the vaccine. It says 2 injections 3 months apart is needed for immunity xx

Wyewaving · 27/06/2020 15:16

Thanks all. I don’t think it’s sunk in yet, I’m in complete shock.

We went out to get a digital which has confirmed it. We told my parents and I cried, told them I was bricking it 🙈 My mother is beside herself with excitement, it’ll be their first grandchild.
