Unusually short bleed - am I pregnant?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for nearly 3.5 years now and were going through all the gynaecology appointments/tests just before Covid hit.
I'm normally as regular as clockwork - 27-29 day cycle and a period that lasts 6-7 days. However this month, my period has ended after 2 days - which has freaked me out a bit! It was fairly heavy on day one, moderate-light on day 2, then stopped. I know implantation bleeding is characteristically light, but I've read stories of some women being heavier. Has anyone ever had this sort of bleeding and turned out to be pregnant?

Hello, I had a lot of bleeding with my second baby so much so that I tested everyday to check the tests where getting darker and ended up at doctors and then hospital to confirm that the pregnancy was progressing and was okay so it is possible. Try taking a test with fmu, fingers crossed for you 🤞

Hi OP, I’m having the same! Very light period and it’s stopped on day three, normally goes on for 5 days.

Thanks both for your replies. I think I'm going to leave testing for a while - I've had so many negatives in the past, I just don't want to face another one! It's probably just a hormonal blip, but I'll keep an eye out for any symptoms. 😊
