Hi I'm on day 5/6 of high fertility with the clear blue digital opk.

I have just taken a cheap opk too and got no line with it.

My line was darker on the cheap opk last night but still not a positive.

I'm so confused please help

I'm also experiencing a low dull ache/cramp on my right side which started last night and had some white discharge but unsure

I had been using the cheap green OPK's and following advice from Mumsnet invested in some slightly more expensive pink Femometer OPK's and I would say the green one's are always (bar once) lighter in colour than the pink.

However, I tested all over my 'peak week' using both and neither of them gave me a positive. Perhaps I should invest in the Clear Blue.

@Kay00 it's a nightmare isn't it! Just don't know what's right and what's not right!

High fertility is just a rise in estrogen not Lh it won't turn peak until LH detected. Are you testing twice a day now? You may have missed it otherwise xx

@Whilstwewait I've been testing my first urine on a morning and then about 7pm on a night, and they do seem darker on a night but none of them have been positive yet, keep getting two lines but none as strong as the first and just high fertility on clear blue xx

I think CB will just keep flashing even if you have already ovulated and missed the peak on it. Seen some people have 10 flashing days before a positive though so its so hard. I always tend to get my positives in the afternoon around 2 and once did miss it on the CB as kind of surged and went back down quickly so i only caught it on a cheap test whilst waiting for my new CB sticks to arrive. I now use internet cheapy ones. CB are good for FMU though. Id maybe use combination of both so its cheaper and once your cheap one is dark use your CB to confirm. Good luck x

The month I fell pregnant the CB said I ovulated on day 10 but the cheap ones said day 16 (and were negative on day 10). The cheap ones were right and if I had followed CB then I wouldnt currently be listening to DH reading a bedtime story to my little girl.

Hey I need help as well!!!

This is the first time I’m using OPKs and I’m really confused I got a steady smiley face early on but I was holding the test the wrong way around so obv that’s an error. I have then been trying to test and I’m on day 18 of my 30 day cycle and I had 3 day’s of flashing smileys but not a steady one yet. I’m a little bit worried as ovulating on day 20 will mean implications with progesterone.

At the same time I was doing the cheap pink ones and I haven’t had a second line coming through at all not even when the clear blue was showing peak.

What Am I doing wrong?

I have also been tracking my bbt and I had a drop in temperature and then an increase a couple of days before the clear blue showed peak!

Help

i dont think holding it wrong way would make it static id take that as your peak especially with a temp rise @ck236
