Clearblue Fertility Monitor Advanced...anyone had any joy with this?

Hello! I'm new here :)

I am 34 yrs old, TTC baby #1. Currently on week 3 of my first cycle. Still trying to get my head round all the new information and acronyms!

After spending way too much time on the internet I splashed out on the Clearblue Fertility monitor with the touch screen. I know its early doors to be buying something like this but I feel it might take the leg-work out of figuring out my peak days... I can't start using this until the first days of my next cycle so its still sitting in a box in my bathroom Smile

I had a search on MN to see if there was another thread on this but they all seem to be pretty old and I know that Clearblue discontinued the old sticks and have updated them somehow so was wondering if anyone had any luck with his recently?

Don’t know about the new version but my 2 children were conceived with help from the old clear blue! After a year of no joy - cycle no 2 with my son & cycle no 1 with daughter😁

I'm so excited to really get started TTC! almost want AF to come so we can start trying in earnest.. so far only been using the app Clue for a month.

My best friend had a hard time initially conceiving and said that she became obsessed with the strips and taking temperature until she made herself miserable, hoping to avoid that with this gadget. I'm already trying to check for EWCM and it feels like reading tea leaves and I have no idea what I'm actually looking for!

Just conceived no 3 using it x

I would say I ovulated a week later than I thought I did hence why I wasn’t getting pregnant. Doh

I'm 33 and after 10 months TTC, we splashed out and bought the CBFM. I'm now in the 2nd month using it and 11DPO. I find it very useful as I ovulate earlier than all the apps say so I could've been missing my peak days!
In my first month using it, I went straight from Low to Peak which apparently is normal. In the second month, I had one High day before Peak.
Good luck! 😊

@pennythecat86 How are you getting on in your current cycle? My AF came so I am CD1 and will be in the third month using the CBFM but 13th month TTC. I felt like I had so many symptoms in the last cycle that maybe implantation failed. Who knows! 🤷🏻‍♀️ new sticks have been ordered ready and looking forward to my fertile week.

@Fran2020 So by sheer luck I found out that I am pregnant before I actually had a chance to use the monitor! We were half heartedly trying the month before and we just happened to get lucky... Its early days yet, only just missed my last AF so keeping fingers crossed that everything goes okay :)
wishing you all the luck and baby dust Star Star Star
