Bleeding day after unprotected sex? Period not due for another week?

Hi girl's

Not even 24hours after sex im having a bleeding like discharge today.

Me and my other half aren't 'trying'.. but not using any form of contraception either.

Seems strange as my period is not due for another week and i have a long cycle so would be strange for it to come early. I doubt im ovulating at this point in my cycle either.

Any one any ideas why this could be so?

It depends on how much you're bleeding but it's common for your cervix to bleed if the sex was too rough. You also could have torn a little bit.
